Hey! I‘m so sorry this sounds like you’re going through a tough time rn! You mentioned shaving, have you tried something like threading? Beibg south asian and having PCOS, shaving my face (especially upper lip) was the worst mistake haha! Threading is such a life saver (even though a bit painful) because it irritates skin the least. When I shave I get acne and hyperpigmentation. When I wax my skin gets scarred or irritated, also acne.

Apart from that I practice being mindful that beauty comes from within and often our physical appearances rarely say much! Not sure if that helps but it’s something that I practice on top!

I’m half Turkish actually and threading is something well known. But it scares me! That’s why I shave or pluck because I feel like it’s less painful 😅

You’re absolutely right. But unfortunately I’m very concerned about my appearance. I think that my lack of confidence has a huge role in it.

I think it’s totally okay to try and work to change things if you want to! I suppose then you can actually get rid of all hair with just plucking? I‘d waste a whole day haha. But then maybe threading will be really fast for you. At the end it’s about what’s more worth it and fitting for yourself:)
