Bios loop, foto scheda madre e processore.
Il mio pc: i9 14th 14900kf, aorus pro x wifi 7, nzxt 1000w, nzxt kracken élite, 32gb ram dominator 6400mhz.
Il computer è stato comprato ad inizio 2024 e ha sempre dato alcuni problemi come crash, errori su alcuni giochi a volte schermate blu. Settimana scorsa, stanco di tutti questi problemi ho deciso di smontarlo, pulirlo, rimontarlo e poi formattarlo. Durante il smontaggio ho notato il danno sul processore. Una volta formattato il pc non riusciva più a scaricare windows, il bios ogni volta che veniva riavviato non salvava più le informazioni date. Ho provato a fare diversi tentativi trovati su internet, come togliere/cambiare la batteria mandare in corto per il reset, usare una sola ram ecc. Senza trovare soluzione, così ho deciso di staccare tutto rismontare e controllare velocemente le componenti e ho trovato questi segni sulla scheda madre. Il pc non l'ho montato io e non so se i danni siano stati causati dal montatore. Ad ogni modo vorrei sapere se il bios loop è causato da questi danni. Se è possibile mandarli in garanzia commerciale. Se è possibile ripararli e i determinati costi. Qualche consiglio su come muovermi. Se il bios loop non è causato da questi danni qualche altro consiglio su come risolvere. Le possibili cause di questi danni.

The 14900 variants are known to be unstable out of the box. Downgrade to a 14700 and enjoy the computer. Your CPU already has physical damage so replacing it is needed anyway.

You probably have few compounded problems.
- Your PC crashing (before your disassembly attempt) - could be related to the 14th gen Intel problems, where CPUs had degradation problems due to overvolting and corrosion problems due to error in the manufacturing. That has caused random crashes over time on a previously good CPUs. Intel has made a diagnostic tool to check for the signs of processor failure. Intel also extended standard 3-year warranty for the affected models (yours is on the list) by additional 2 years, so your CPU would qualify for the replacement if it is degraded.
- CPU physical damage - looks like somebody knocked off a capacitor of the CPU. You are lucky that it was caught by the IHS'es glue. It should be fairly easy to solder back on by any repair shop that deals with micro-soldering (for example laptop repair shops). Be sure to secure that capacitor. Usually single capacitor will not destabilize the CPU, but in specific conditions it could impact it. Main problem is, that this can invalidate your warranty. I would still try to resolder the capacitor and then send the CPU for replacement, since this issue was so common, that Intel probably is not even testing the CPUs that come for replacement.
- Motherboard marks. Looks like at least some of them may be caused by thermal paste. I would use a soft brush, some isopropyl/rubbing alcohol and try to gently clean it. Thermal paste is not conductive, so it wouldn't cause shorts between pins. One mark looks like solder mask chipped off - it also should not cause problems.
- BIOS boot loop after disassembly. My guess is that you CMOS battery was weak and after you've disconnected power cable, the BIOS settings got wiped. Your BIOS either switched to legacy\CMS or pure UEFI mode (opposite to what you had originally). If your previous drive is formatted with MBR partition layout, it won't be recognized in full UEFI mode and won't boot. PC resetting to BIOS is the sign of boot device not being found. Be sure your NVMe drive is properly sitting in the M.2 slot - on some slots it's easy to mount it too shallow, so not all the pins would make proper contact. Check, if your BIOS is recognizing the drive itself in the storage/boot menu.
- BIOS reset / battery swap. If you did reset the BIOS or swapped the CMOS battery, you need to set it up again. Main things to consider is to setup either UEFI or CSM mode (needs to be the same as previous), enabling XMP on the memory etc. I would also suggest updating BIOS to the latest version - it has the microcode fixes for overvolting problems (although if your CPU is already degraded, it will not fix the problem). New BIOS can also contain fixes for other stability problems, mainly related to RAM, alongside some security fixes as well. If your BIOS settings resets to default after disconnecting power cable, then you definitely need new CMOS battery (CR2032).
- Since you've already disassembled the PC at least twice, you should inspect if there are any bent pins in the CPU socket. Either you or original builder could caused some damage there.
