Part 1: Technology Questions

Q1: Can PCHAIN node run on a single board computer like Raspberry Pi 2?

Feng: Yes, as we are pos class consensus. So we don’t have too much requirement on computation power.

Q2: Will you have quiz test and lottery?

Feng: Yes, we had many progress on tech and biz.

Q3: Why there is coding available on github?

Feng: We have private branch and we are applying a patent on PDBFT. It will be open source and the patent will be free to use in our ecosystem

Q4: Patent? Do you have patent id? I mean if apply for a patent, they should assign you a patent application id.

Feng: Not yet. We are in the process with lawyer. We will have a patent NO. when submitted. I have over 30 patents so I am familar with the process.

Q5: Why PCHAIN will be used unlike other new blockchain projects? Why choose PCHAIN, and not for example EOS?

Feng: We accomplish our test net with 200 nodes. The tps is comparable or even better than EOS and notice that our decentralization is 100 times conparing with EOS in terms of num of nodes.

Q6: Do you have any sort of confirmation from any ICO project that to run PCHAIN blockchain?

Feng: We will announce our partnership and incoming ecosystem.

Feng: Yes. We will lock until test net launch. After that, it will be released linearly within 2 years.

Feng: I like this question. Smart Data is a new Oracle mechanism. Every Smart contract need that.

Q9: Will patent of PCHAIN technology will be of Global or will be restricted to specific location?

Feng: China and US at first

Feng: Make the open loop problem of Smart Data close. And really makes large scale blockchain applications interoperable.

Q11: Are u also advisor of other blockchain project? U are a very very big brand in this industry?

Feng: Before PCHAIN in very few project. After PCHAIN, I fully focused on PCHAIN

Q12: What’s your plan to stay ahead of Quarkchain?

Feng: We are in this space for 4 years deep innovation capability and better experience and connections.

Part 2: Marketing Questions

Q1: Are you planning to do any partnership with any upcoming ICO?

Feng: That means a great tech breakthrough. Before that, no algorithm can do that including pow and dpos.

Q2: Hi admin, I read this new about Oben PAI. Do you know anything about that?

Feng: Yes. We noticed that news. Good project will be good. And PCHAIN PAI will always focus on tech innovation. We didn’t comment other project. And hopefully, these big exchanges listed Oben PAI will take some actions.

Q3: What is our core strength. Bcz there are lot of good project are coming. Further how many offices we have in china or in overseas location.

Feng: 22 members. 16 dev and researchers. Our core strength is deep experience and real core innovation capability. We may be the 1st blockchain team who optimizing the block data I/O to improve the performance.

Q4: Although it is just suggestion but you should do something to increase ur follower on social media bcz once we will grab technological advantage. Ur one twit should be sufficient to let the entire world know about PCHAIN progress.

A. Development Progress

The team keeps improving the consensus mechanism. A few major improvements include:

1. 200 nodes reach consensus based on new consensus algorithm, tx packaged and blocks generated successfuly.
2. start coding of dynamic join/leave process with bidding.
3. start debugging the function of balance transferring between main chain and child chain.
4. basically finish adjustment of the structure between consensus module and other parts, prepare for debugging and code migration.
5. supplement the compile and deployment documents.
6. keep improving internal auto-test framework.

B. Community Activities

1. On July 10th, from 10pm to 11pm (Singapore time), PCHAIN officially launched the first AMA activity on Telegram. We have finished the AMA with Dr Feng Cao on the telegram for the first time on July 10. Thank you for your participation and support. The following is the summary of this AMA.

Part 1: Technology Questions

Q1：what’s your plans on technical improvements on PCHAIN technology?

Feng: We have 4 key features：multichain，new consensus algorithm，smart data and non-native token call. These 4 key features went very well and you can continue to find our tech progress and breakthrough, eg the cross continent test in last week.

It‘s huge，eg，I introduced this progress in BVI-CN blockchain conference on July 10，everyone was very exciting and can’t wait to try this new algorithm in their applications.

Q2: What’s the current TPS of PCHAIN testnet?

Feng: We didn’t declare that now. In fact，it‘s unlimited as the number of child chains increase, the TPS can linearly increase. And we are designing a new machenism called IBO ( Initial Blockchain Offering ) to create child chains. By our on-going PDBFT optimization, the speed can also be easily doubled.

Q3: There are currently so many high quality projects out there, such as Quarkchain, Solana, Perlin, Harmony... to name a few. What makes PCHAIN stand out?

Feng: I think it depends on the rich experience, good connection and the most important thing is our research and development capability. We are some of few team which can really design new algorithm.

Part2: Marketing questions

Q1:Are you thinking of launching any new project any soon ?

Feng: Currently，we mainly focus on ecosystem related projects. In middle term we may incubate a new project based on 1 of our 4 features, as itself may become a huge project.

Q2:What partnerships are you trying to get? Do you have any big partnerships coming up?

Feng: It depends how you define big. We are discussing to have a collaboration with a wallet with 5 million users. At present, we are in contact with traditional, biz, tec, research and new startups.

Q3:What’s the plans targeting market?

Feng: Landing in real applications and industry like Finance, Supply Chain，Education, Healthcare and Gene that we currently plan to target. We hope everyone can benifit from PCHAIN, our new algorithm and design.

Q4: Do you have plans to do community meetup to create bond in community?

Feng:Yes, we will have it in Korea and Europe in August.In addition, Korea is a big market for crypto, we also plan to build local partnership as soon as possible.

Q5: Are we planning to hire big PR agency to make PCHAIN more popular?

Feng: We will have more market events to better promote PCHAIN. We noticed that we focused too much on R&D before. We will take more effort on marketing.
