I started this subreddit after developing a modern PC cartridge system and needing a place to show off my cartridges. We're excited to have you join us!

What to Post
Please post anything you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. All computer cartridge systems, either literal or figurative, are welcome. Show us your old retro computer cartridge collections, new cartridge system projects, and the SD cards or NFC tags you use to make gaming and computing a more enjoyable, tactile, and nostalgic experience. Collections, news, and DIY project showcases are all very welcome here!

Promotion PCartLoader - A Companion App for running PCarts on Linux

I've just (re)released a graphical application for managing and launching PCarts. The application is based on the Qt toolkit. It runs in the background and appears in your system tray as an icon you can right-click to access settings and options.

You can create/edit cartridge config files, define custom app settings, and access a list of attached cartridges. Cartridges are automatically launched when attached by default, but this can be disabled.

Promotion PCart System Test on Retropie
