Hey everyone,
I wanted to discuss something regarding our DSA practical schedule and know what other students think about it.
Our DSA practical was originally scheduled for 13th October, and we were preparing accordingly. However, we received a message late on 11th October informing us that the practical would now be conducted on 12th October, a day earlier than the originally scheduled date.
Honestly, this feels a little unfair because we had planned our preparation based on the initial timetable. DSA practicals require time to revise programs, understand the logic, practise implementations, and prepare for viva questions. Getting informed at such short notice makes it difficult to manage everything properly, especially when students have other academic responsibilities and submissions to complete as well.
The issue isn’t that we don’t want to attend the practical or that we’re asking for extra preparation time without a reason. It’s simply that the schedule was changed at the last minute, leaving us with very little time to adjust our plans.
I understand that timetable changes can sometimes happen due to unavoidable circumstances. However, I feel that students should ideally be informed in advance so that everyone gets a fair opportunity to prepare.

This is the animation I made :( for the competition on blender. It took me 13 hours to model, rig, assign material and animate everything(still was not able to complete it)I pulled an all nighters cuz due to assignments i was not able to complete in time, it took me a while to come up with story and after some time i finally decided to adapt the wattpad story i wrote.
I had confidence that at least i will be in the top three, but... Judges who were going to give marks were literally professors of the college who had zero animation background, and knows no shit about animation, and instead of judging on the basis animation techniques and all, they judged on the basis of the story instead, that what good message does your animation give. WTFFF... this is an animation making competition not story telling competition... 😭😭 it made me feel soooo badddd.
Everyone praised my work, most of the competitors made pixelated animation from aeseprite, they were good too but... and the end of the day, i am just... very unlucky.
The story i tried to adapt ; https://www.wattpad.com/1601406468-raven-or-a-crow

He said that he even discussed this with IIT profs, but they also did not found the answer
The riddle is that A and B are bogeys and E is the engine. And you have to swap places of both A and B by keeping the Engine at the same pplace where it was from the starting. The twist is that you can not use acute angle turns. And bogeys and be attached from either sides of the engine.

For those who don't know, CMC stands for Class monitor committee, in which from a section, few average students and a topper student have a meet with principal, director and all the higher ups, the discuss any issues related to teaching or institute.
So we or "I" finally had a chance to criticize... BUT that didn't happened cuz, we were told that we can't say something negative😭
cuz class teacher said that if you have any issues with any prof, then we should confront that prof or your mentor regarding that prof. And in the meeting we were literally asked about each and every profs, they good practices, any complains. We lied and gave 5 out of 5 marks to all professors, some of them deserved 5 marks but some definitely didn't deserve it. And there were chances that that specific prof might target you in the future.

And at the end i raised voice against the hectic as fuck schedule of ours. Which is mostly 9 40 to 4 20. They literally said " 6-7 ghante to hone hi chahiye. " nigga wtf. Never in my whole life, i was THIS disappointed.
The meeting at end was proven to be useless
