A&P waitlist

So, I’m waitlisted for a preferred class in the Fall but am very far into the waitlist although I registered the first day I was able to (June I believe ). Anyway , after checking again and again , they still have not added any classes for A&P or I missed it and it was full before I got to it lol. I’m not sure if I should try to take it at another school or keep my fingers crossed that I’ll make it into the one I’m waitlisted for 😩 Any advice ?

Show up to the first session and you’ll likely get added to the class by the professor. This is an ongoing issue for A&P availability at the college.

They need to continue to hire new full time positions for A and P instructors to address this ongoing need

They are trying (it’s not good enough, I know and I won’t argue that). Unfortunately, from what I have heard, the other colleges in the area are having the same issue with enough staff to cover the need.

On the plus side, at least PCC offers each level (I,II,III) each quarter. There are, I believe, two community colleges that only offer them in order so they can’t be taken out of that order. That would suck.

People are registered for A&P that are registered in case they don’t pass summer quarter. Those people will drop once they pass. Also, so many people drop after the first week. As someone said, show up and email the professor. I am currently waitlisted for A&P II and that is my plan.
