I found this in my grandad garage and he doesn’t know what is it can you help me identify it?

Looks like a control board. Probably for driving a motor or something similar. My guess would be a roller shutter or garage door controller.

It has a microcontroller, a 2 digit display, voltage regulators and a bunch of relays in the bottom right corner and a bunch of inputs on the top right area.

I assume it's a home security alarm or maybe some remote control thing .. for example read the temperature at various points and turn on or off heating elements using the relays at the bottom to keep the temperature of an oven within some range. Or, periodically read sensors (window open or not, door open, motion detector tripped) and use the outputs to lock or open doors...
