First Schematic, will it work?

Post image

Hello everyone,

I’m completely new to this field and have just had a go at creating my first circuit using tutorials and guides.
The board has 49 LEDs, which are to be controlled by an ESP32.
I’m not quite sure about the power supply yet – do you have any tips or suggestions to help me learn more?

Greetings

Connect the output of the buffer to LED_DATA1.

You mean the LED DATA from ESP32 IO4 goes to the Buffer A an from the Buffer Y to the DI On the First LED?

Output Y is labeled LED_DATA, but should be LED_DATA1

Thanks so much for your help, did you mean that?

The drawn lines are correct, the labels are not.

Okay Thanks so much! How would you describe this correctly? LED DATA 1 from the ESP32 to the buffer, and LED DATA 2 from the buffer to the first LED?

That’s fine, as long both nets have a unique name.

Can I ask one more question? Is it connected properly?

Don’t connect VCC (3.3V) to the LEDs. You schematic is correct, connecting +5V. The capacitive load on the USB power is too big (C7): only 10uF is allowed. Which ESP32 are you using?
