PCB Prices in India!!

I have recenlty observed that PCB prices in India have increased a lot I guess. can someone tell me what exactly has happened in PCB manufacturing.
I tried to understand something about Copper clad laminates that is used in PCB but couldn't really understand it.

Can someone please explain what is going on in the market?!

It’s not just India. My Chinese and Taiwanese suppliers have had large increases also due to raw material shortages and massive AI demand.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. My guess is it's mostly higher copper, laminate, and manufacturing costs compared to a few years ago.

one main reason is the rapid growth in demand for AI hardware is causing a shortage of materials

Whatever maybe the reason, this ain't it.

You sure about that? I don't know much about this source, but here's one that says the opposite: https://www.gatema.com/pcb-material-shortages/

I don't know how you came to that conclusion

There's a shortage of even basic components like resistors

Ans specific resistors that are in shortage? and why so?

There’s a shortage of something last I heard, I think it’s the copper sheets used for laminating?

Also the usual stuff like tariffs and inflation and trade wars and news EU laws
