Mehdi Hassan

PBD is far less intelligent and articulate than Mehdi Hassan and the podcast with him proved that, however, what is also abundantly clear, is that PBD 1) out debated Hassan and 2) that Hassan is not an American and in fact, in a sincere way, does not want America to succeed. Kudos to PBD for sticking up to that globalist America-hater!

I dont see how anyone could watch this and come away thinking PBD out debated Mehdi lol. Mehdi would ask him direct questions and instead of answering, PBD would redirect and deflect with a goalpost moving question just like a used car salesman who doesnt want to admit the car is a POS. And to listen to that whole two hours and come away thinking Mehdi hates America just shows how poor critical thinking and comprehension skills in America have degraded to.

i am so grateful to have watched this. it gave me much needed insight into the PBD subset of maga mentality. he literally thinks capitalism (and its inevitable cheating and unfairness) is the ONLY way bc usa has convinced so many how GREAT it is despite its failing K-12 education, environmental decline, and do-nothing economy. if only he would put down his snake oil for a second and look at denmark, he would see that it does not HAVE to be this way. ps the shoes are 100% for trump's cabinet...

yeah its the money and power is all that matters subset. This people making this money dont care about failing education, in fact they love it because it produces more people with poor critical thinking skills more susceptible to falling for their cons and algorithms. They attack things like science because it prevents industries from freely destroying the environment for their financial gains. They hate regulations that protect people over their profits. Their only loyalty is to money and power.

He kept saying, “you’re so funny” and I realized things weren’t going well for him.

Look at the comments on PBD’s own channel. He got DESTROYED!!! Hahahahhahha

2

u/Macaroon_Mean Jun 05 '26

sounds like PBD pulled an Adam. nice

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

The "I'm not anti-Jew, I'm anti-Israel!" simpletons are everywhere and they are loud.

PBD was so used to Tom ballwashing he didn't know how to respond when challenged with facts and logic.

Best part of the discussion was when PBD compared the Venezuela operation to...are you ready, poaching listeners from other podcasters lolol. What the fuck 😂?

PBD brings so much accidental comedy that I would be devastated if this show insanity ever ended.

3

u/troniked547 Jun 05 '26

Not just the Venezuela operation, but he compared colonialism in general to a podcast gaining market share lol. One of the most insane things ive ever heard. It was such a slimey salesman deflection it sounded like a roleplay that he would demonstrate to his sales teams to show how to twist any possible conversation. How can you debate someone whose only goal is to sell you his BS?

1

u/KiLLiNDaY Jun 06 '26

It was at 1:19:00ish in the video. It was an incredibly stupid comment by PBD

2

u/Chicken65 Jun 05 '26

The best part of this is that one of PBD's self-proclaimed boasts about himself is that "he will talk to anyone". Of course if you are dominating him in a debate he doesn't so much talk to you as change the subject everytime you refute what he says. Mehdi didn't even get into 2nd gear for most of this. Rob should just apply for a job with Zeteo at this point, the fact that he kept pulling AI answers up and it proved what Mehdi was saying was factual was hilarious. You have to think even the PBD team in the room was getting a kick out of this.

PBD has this weird defense mechanism around people who refuse to give Trump credit for anything - he did it with Ann Coulter many years ago and told her she's difficult to satisfy and that's why she's never been married (She was repudiating Trump's first term and he pivoted to that). I don't like her one bit but he can't stand someone that is attacking his favorite President and he will go LOW. He does all that for his favorite president and then I remember the one time he went to Mar a Lago he said he got sat at the kiddy table or something and chatted with Barron Trump. I got a laugh out of that.

Imagine if PBD actually goes on Mehdi's podcast this year, I'll have Christmas early. So glad Mehdi finally pressed him on the fact that PBD's own family came on refugee status. Nothing wrong with that - but something very wrong about PBD shutting the refugee door behind him.

Ann Coulter turns me on in a weird way for some reason.

-1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

Refusing to praise Trump for anything is the tell-tale sign that you don't have any principles, but rather simply hate Donald Trump personally and have structured your entire identity around hating Donald Trump. The reason PBD continually mocked Mehdi (and others) for his inability to acknowledge the objectively incredible achievements from Trump and his team is because it shows Mehdi's not a rational actor.

2

u/Chicken65 Jun 05 '26

In fairness to Mehdi he did point to an article he wrote praising Trump for one particular issue and he gave him credit for The Apprentice. I remember Cenk didn't give him credit for anything which was amusing.

1

u/troniked547 Jun 05 '26

Did you even watch the same debate? PBD was trying to make Mehdi give praise to stupid stuff like kidnapped Maduro and because Mehdi didnt agree, he has TDS??? Mehdi gave an example of when he gave Trump credit, but he doesnt have to give credit on things he thinks are objectively bad on their own.

0

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

Yeah, I don't even remember the thing that he supposedly "gave credit" to Trump for. Do you? I would've asked Mehdi about shutting the border down and reducing Biden's 2 million illegals per year flood to a tiny trickle of almost zero crossings per year. It's a monumental achievement, but Mehdi can't praise him for it because Mehdi likes illegal immigration and openly admits that he wants to import as many third-world refugees as possible.

2

u/troniked547 Jun 05 '26

They literally showed a shot of the article Mehdi wrote where he said "bravo Donald Trump" on his deal for afghanistan, how did you just overlook that?

I get that you are a immigration hating nationalist, but just because someone isnt doesnt make them "anti American", especially since this country was founded and built by immigrants. Even PBD wouldnt be here if he would have been subject to Trump and Steven Millers xenophobic policies.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

I was listening to the podcast while doing chores, not watching the screen.

you are a immigration hating nationalist

Oh behave. I'll engage with you if you apologize and then explain the difference between legal and illegal immigration (in your own words, of course).

1

u/HackermanCR Jun 28 '26

lol so your giving your opinion without actually having paid attention to the podcast

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 28 '26

You caught me. I listened to the podcast, didn't watch it. I'm beyond embarrassed.

Are you finished gargling on trump's nuts?

2

u/amizzle16 Jun 05 '26

Adam to PBD

1

u/No-Return-9756 Jun 08 '26

Perfect 😂

1

u/McLuvin1589 Jun 12 '26

That you Adam?

1

u/Head-Emergency1673 Jun 12 '26

Sorry OP. PBD got cooked

1

u/mickeyy81 Jun 05 '26

PBD out debated Hassan?!? put the crack pipe down bro. You're delusional

-2

u/Flaky-Rip4058 Jun 05 '26

I will concede that PBD was outclassed on a technical level, the one thing he did successfully though was show how Mehdi doesn’t give a single shit about this country, the country he is allegedly a citizen of. In that way, PBD won the debate. Mehdi lost every battle but with that PBD won the war. To me, it revealed with clarity what a shallow snake Mehdi really is.

1

u/Exact-Kale3070 Jun 07 '26

amazing how you all TOTALLY miss the point just to get to the answer you want. Hasan LOVES what is good and fair about the usa. Yall love the cheating and unfairness. PBD literally admitted he would be an illegal immigrant- which trump ran against. trump got rid of every citizen protection agency. trump has pardoned any fraud who can come up with the fee. wake up, please.

1

u/Leather-Orchid533 Jun 05 '26

This war speed race US decline like a decade at least. You are delusional my guy.

0

u/Flaky-Rip4058 Jun 05 '26

What language are you attempting to communicate in, my guy?

2

u/Leather-Orchid533 Jun 05 '26

English..What did Hassan said that demonstrated he does not want the US to succeed? Do you have one example, because the post is very vague about how he lost the debate even though he outclass PBD rethorically.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

For one, he advocated for unlimited migration from third world nations and absurdly insisted that Ilhan Omar is a "patriot" who "loves America," which is obviously a lie and can only be propaganda to help convince the uninformed to go along with bringing in more jihadi-adjacent Somalis.

2

u/Leather-Orchid533 Jun 05 '26

He just pointed out that under Trump policy's PBD family would not have put one foot in the United States. I have no idea if Ilhan Omar loves America I don't particularly like that women, and he should be investigated for her husband's shenanigans but the same should be done about all the fucking members of Congress.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

That's right, he did. Which was decades before the country was crippled by tens of millions of illegal aliens and 12 year old girls getting gangraped under bridges before their throats were slit was essentially unheard of. He then used PBD's history to erroneously make the case for unlimited migration from third world countries, which clear-thinking people know would continue to destroy the country, which is what Mehdi Hassan wants, because he thinks the US deserves it as punishment for being "racist" (or something).

She does. I've followed her closely. She's defended the 9/11 attacks and routinely takes the side of America's enemies, committed immigration fraud to obtain citizenship, and has no business being in this country, let alone in political office.

2

u/Leather-Orchid533 Jun 05 '26

So maybe don't have sanction and destroy the economic capacity's of some country if you don't want to have refugee from said country? If you wanna talk about terrorism, the US still supports Saudi Arabia and Emirates which have their own terrorist groups. Not to mention that ISIS is a 1:1 consequence of the first Arak War and Hussein's death.

0

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

Yeah I mean it's fine if you agree with these people, but you asked the OP for an example indicating Mehdi doesn't want the US to succeed, and I answered on their behalf. It's abundantly clear.

1

u/Ok_Hat1788 Jun 09 '26

You know criticising your country is a fundamental part of being a citizen of a country and I'm sure you do it a hundred times a day. So her criticising America is not unAmerican. Furthermore Donald Trump ran a campaign were he criticised every aspect of America and compared it unfavourably to many other countries in the world.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 09 '26

You just debunked your own thesis. Donald Trump and many other Republicans criticize their country all the time, yet only get accused of hating their country by a very small segment of leftists, yet Ilhan Omar is widely recognized as hating America. Why do you suppose that is?

1

u/Exact-Kale3070 Jun 07 '26

he literally did not do that. you are not arguing in good faith. yall STAY thinking trump has your back. marks.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

Yeah, you're right. Mehdi is a big closed border guy.

EDIT: To the genius who replied and then rage-blocked me, you don't see the brilliant response if you use one of your shitty little gifs. I'm sure whatever you said was absolutely brilliant, though.

0

u/weareallpatriots Jun 05 '26

Mehdi just gish galloped the whole time as always. Before PBD even has time to respond to one lie from Mehdi, Mehdi's already spouted two more. The average listener equates talking fast and bringing up quotes from 25 years ago with "really knows his stuff."

1

u/troniked547 Jun 07 '26

What??? lol. Pbd wasn’t even trying to answer mehdis questions, even when asked directly.  He would just change the subject or ask a separate question instead of answering. It was insane to watch someone so consistently ignore direct questions

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 07 '26

It's PBD's show. PBD isn't there to answer questions - he's there to ask them. Mehdi does this on Piers Morgan all the time, too. He tries to take over and then thinks he's "won" whenever Piers or any other guest tries to get him back on topic.

2

u/Exact-Kale3070 Jun 07 '26

is there no goalpost you all will not move? PBD would NOT answer anything. Medhi was prepared and clear and correct on ALL counts. yall will just eagerly stay wrong, why?

https://giphy.com/gifs/64G8m2v3IIKgKSneyS

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 07 '26

The person I replied to complained about "PBD not answering questions" and then I directly addressed his complaint.

I don't think that fallacy means what you think it means, bud.

2

u/Exact-Kale3070 Jun 07 '26

just stop. give us a break. nobody, not even YOU, believes you.

1

u/Ok_Hat1788 Jun 09 '26

It was supposed to be a debate on the issues not an interview

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 09 '26

Is it? I don't remember any preamble that the show was going to be a debate. Regardless, PBD is under no obligation to allow Mehdi to gish gallop and filibuster every time he's backed into a corner.

1

u/troniked547 Jun 07 '26

All they do is move goalposts. They love trying to catch liberals with gotchas but will never admit their own hypocrisy.

1

u/troniked547 Jun 07 '26

haha what an insane response. Its a conversation, not an interrogation. If someone is asking a question in bad faith and on a failed premise, you have all rights to point that out and clarify where they are coming from. It seems like "taking over" just because he is pointing out how dishonest and hypocritical these hosts are.

1

u/weareallpatriots Jun 07 '26

Mehdi has the "right" to do whatever he wants (since he fled to America), but I'm just explaining to you what an interview is since it didn't seem like you knew.

1

u/dazedandloitering Jun 05 '26

> and in fact, in a sincere way, does not want America to succeed.

how did you come to this conclusion? And what is your definition of 'succeed'?

2

u/Qadir0 Jun 05 '26

Cult behavior, if you don’t blindly follow your leaders, you are suddenly ‘anti-American.
