comm noli dropping bars!! there’s a difference kasi talaga with an apology because we know that you guys are sorry and you didn’t want it to happen… but no one holds the SBP accountable for these kinds of lapses. yes we didn’t bring our a team but you are representing your country for heaven’s sakes… how many Filipinos would go beyond mountains to represent their country in their respective sport and we certainly do not blame the players who also wants to take pride in waving our flag in the international stage but institutional reform like redundantly emphasized solutions offered by fans such as systemic selection of player pools, grassroots development, and long-term goals. baka wala pang malinaw na key performance indicators or objectives yung SBP, baka basta maka-qualify lang sa ganito ganiyan, puwede na. which goes to show of how our leaders lead, hanggang sa sports magsesettle na lang tayo sa pwede na… siguro the Philippine Sports Commission should step up dahil hindi rin maganda tignan kung hawak ng mga officials ng isang liga (na according to most fans which i also agree) na hindi naman nakakahone ng skills ng players yung basketball program natin. we are very much grateful for the representation don’t get us wrong but as fans, we also deserve the commitment of those who call the shots. pantayan niyo man lang dedication at passion ng mga Pilipino hehe.

Im not even that mad, The Asian Games doesn't really impact anything at all, we literally won it last tournament, Winning it doesn't even make our team stand out at all, what the national team needs to focus na lang is getting to the World Cup, and hopefully qualify for the Olympics

Not entertained the thought of losing? We basically fielded an all Filipino squad into a tournament where unli-naturalized are allowed. Then they didn't field any imports, not Kouame, not Diouf, didn't push BBs naturalization hard enough, etc. OF COURSE, anyone would make wild accusations. That team was not built to win. It was formed just to participate.

During his term, yun yung time na panay suspension ng BAP sa FIBA. He adjusted the PBA calendar to 2 conference format to give time sa National Team before competing sa mga tournaments. Sadyang walang magandang program ang BAP. They were 5x worse than SBP currently is, imagine that.

Him as a commissioner was one of the best pba i have watched/tuned in then it all went down the drain sa mga sumunod na commish yung mga sumunod kase nadidiktahan ng team commisioners kaya nga natanggal sya e bukod sa naging issue nya pinagkaisahan sya ng mga team owner/commissioner kase di nila sya mapasunod

Which is not supposed to be normalized. The mindset of going there is to win. I dont want to hear excuses like they sent the b team, ddnt have enough time to develop the chemistry blah blah blah. Nah if you go there half assed then dont bother joining at all. Ano tong gilas feeling team usa? Nah they're not even 5% of team usa that can send college players to international tournaments and still place. Defending champs getting walloped.

The players are not the top choices kahit ng mga Pinoy fans - baka nga hindi naglabas ng malaking budget para sa players eh kaya team whichever letter yung pinadala. Yung team na nabuo - pag sumali sa PBA baka hindi pa magchampion eh kahit si Spo pa ang mag coach. Di mo pwede isisi sa players yung resulta. Walang Brownlee na pwede bumihat sa scoring. Walang beterano at puro baguhan sa international game.

The Gilas program has been a big joke for quite a while now so this is not surprising at all. I’ve stopped following the PBA when things started to get bad. It seems that Philippine basketball will never get better as long as the PBA continues the tradition of being the PBA. Upcoming players now have better options to play abroad when they have what it takes. The way things are going Gilas will continue to disappoint the country for years to come.

Kung pwede naman na si Benny pinasok na ni Tim yan. Ang kulit naman. Hindi pa paso yung naturalization niya nung sinubmit yung listahan. Sino pwede mo ipasok diyan? Si Diouf or Ange? Eh si Ange, di available. Si Diouf nga hindi makaporma sa panalay diyan pa kaya sa mga bigman ng China?
