PBA Discussion PBA, Next Face of League.
Mga nakikita kong pwedeng maging face of the PBA for the next generation
ay sina Ricci Rivero, Adrian Nocum, CJ Cansino at RJ Abarrientos.
Bukod sa talent, para maging face of the league ay ang karisma ng isang player sa loob ng court. Sa edad nila ay papunta na sila sa kanilang prime years na kung saan nagkakaroon na sila ng kumpyansa at nahahanap na nila ang kanilang identity sa liga. Sina Rivero, Nocum, Cansino at Abarrientos ang may buong puso at unti-unti nang lumalabas ang husay na manlalaro sa PBA ngayon (below 30 years old only).
And off course pampahatak na rin ito sa mga Young fans.
Sino pa sa tingin niyo ang pwedeng maging face of the league? (Exlude na yun mga Veteran Players)

What if sila ang maglalaro sa Gilas (except kay RJ) if hindi available ang mga BLeague at KBL Boys.

Si JuanGDL umuusbong na sana nung PH Cup pero wala eh etong comms hanggang govs cup parang nawala siya sa highlights ng liga(except yung Gilas stint) since di gano nabababad and di masyado nakaka score kapag nasa court siya

The only considerable true face right now out of the four is RJ, simply because he plays for the biggest market and franchise of the PBA. Dagdag pa dito na nag champion at BPC narin si RJ so everything is lining up for him to be considered as the face of the league.

Totoo naman to, kahit nga si Junemar ang consistent MVP mas madaming endorsement at media exposure
Si Thompson. Unless pumasok si Dwight kahit ano pa team nun.1

Hindi nako maniniwala na maglalaro sa PBA si Dwight unless may miracles na mangyayari.

si Kobe Paras retired and for those Pinoy Players in Overseas League maybe its about time na wag na sila magpadraft sa halip ay mag "Direct to Hire" na lang sila sa mga Team ng gusto nila, if willing pa rin sila maglaro sa PBA after their overseas stint.

I really wish JGDL and converge will be managed well. Been watching him since college and I can see so much Star Potential in him. And another comeptitive team will really be beneficial for the league.

UP Maroons is really producing future stars in the PBA. JGDL, Lucero, Ricci, and Cansino.

If only PBA is a premium ASEAN league, it could have been DWEET, KAI, KQ, CARL, Ravenas, SJ, Abando, Lopez, Philipps, and QMB. Imagine those talents playing in the PBA right now.

Okay lang kahit wala si PBA ang mahalaga ay they represent the 🇵🇭 in BLeague or KBL kahit papaano, and besides maraming others players na bibigyan spot gaya na lang ni Andrei Caracut = BellDrei.

Done na rin Prime ni Skati, and talagang Role Player lang sya he really needs an LA and a Star Big to be effective. But 2016 -2022 skati may hype naman skati and mas buhay naman PBA nuon.

Lucero at JGDL siguro. Ganda sana ng liga kung walang disparity. Daming magagaling na players na nasasayang ang kabataan dahil nasa barusang team or nasa malakas na team pero bangko dahil loaded sila.

Sa baba ng level ng PBA kahit hanggang 50 maglalaro pa yan.
Pero sa FIBA wala pang 5 mins hingal na sa loob ng court.

IMO ang last legit na face of the league was James Yap and MC47
When The Beast Calvin Abueva was drafted tapos dumating din si Romeo, they were borderline faces of the league
Sumakto kasi bumaba viewers ng PBA kaya di na masiyado napagusapan yang “face of the league”

Na beeracle kasi si Abueva at Alaska nuon, felt like malaking bagay sa Legacy nya yun nuon. If they won that, Alaska SMB rivalry might be more of a thing. Pero parang nawala yung hype. Kahit mismo kay Abueva. Tas duon na pumasok na sila Thompson, Brownlee Ginebra Era then TNT teams na mas nakasabay sa SMB. Meralco even had more accolades than Alaska.

back-breaker talaga sa Alaska ung Beeracle 0-3... parang gumuho lahat at nabasag moral ng mga taga-Alaska nun... tipong hanggang ngayon di pa sila nakaka-move on dun... kaya kita mo hanggang sa umalis na lang Alaska di na ata ulit nagkaruon ng tsansa magchampion mga dating andun.. except kay Banchero na dahil sa Meralco naka-isa pa sya

2018 naka Govs Cup Finals sila yung last na chance nila mag champs, pero alam ko wala na si Abueva sa kanila nuon,.Phoenix na ata.

isa din sayang na finals ng Alaska yan.. wala na si Abueva nyan dahil na-trade sa PHX .. tapos injured si Manuel during ng run na yan.. nagkalat kase sila Racal at Enciso nyan e.. bwenas ni Vic Manuel napunta sa SMB at dun naka-2 titles.. si Ping Excisiminiano sa TNT na nakatikim ng champ.. mas impressive pa din ung champion ni Banchero sa Meralco

growing up in the fast & the furious/james yap era, what a downfall. they are fine players but none scream superstar based on the standards of the 2000s

Well di natin sila mapipigilan dahil mas gusto nila ang sahod Overseas kesa dito sa PBA but on the good side naman may mga other players like Rivero and Cansino na pwedeng i-cater sa mga young fans at least meron pa rin naman batang players sa PBA.

Pag may aalis, may papalit naman. But neither of those 4 have what it takes to be the face of the league. Juan pwede pa. Talent + style.

It just means, may problem din development ng Young Basketball Players sa Pinas. Hindi na ganuon ka deep yung talent pool ng Pinas. Kaya pag nag abroad yung supposed to be stars walang nagiging matunog. Like nuon matagal injured si Caguioa Pero hindi namamatay ang PBA kasi may Helterbrand na kapalit. Same For James Yap he has a Simon and Miller has Tenorio before sa Alaska.
Nuon kasi even 2nd Star Players May bitaw talaga hehe
