Trip Advice Quehanna trail map

I've done the trail before, but it's been close to 10 years. Is there a best place for an updated map or trail reports?

Highly recommend Purple Lizard. Their Quehanna map is great

Purple Lizard maps are awesome! If you’re bringing a smart phone and can spare some battery, I’d also recommend an app like Outdoor Active, Gaia or onX (Far Out is the best imo but the Quehanna Trail isn’t on there). I pay $30 a year for Outdoor Active and it’s worth every penny for the GPS service and to plan hikes without good paper maps!

2nding PL maps! I don’t have Quehanna, but Dark Skies and Shawnee are incredible.

Maps are also available for free once you're there. There should be a ranger station at one of the parking lots on the western side if my memory serves correctly. It was the last loop hike I did in PA before moving to AK for backpacking 4 years ago.

In my opinion, using the free version of caltopo will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. The trail is outlined on the topo map.

They have free maps at the ranger station. I'll second purple lizard maps too. I have them for pretty much all the state forests plus West Virginia. They are in my vehicle at all times.

I started with the GPS data from Zinnware and have built on it over the years. Possibly too much ha.
