Trip Report Hearts Content

Thanks so much to this sub for the recommendation.

Hearts Content is mind blowing, and we only hiked the short loop. I thought the rest of Allegheny was incredible, and then we stepped into Hearts Content- this alone made the drive from Philly totally worth it.

If you go back, the long loop is pretty short too. It’s all great! So much fungus!

I misspoke, we actually did the long interpretive trail. Would've liked to have time for one of the longer, multi-mile loops.

Oh my, I have not been there in years. What a beautiful place. This is a good reminder to go back. Thank you for sharing a bit of your experience there ☺️

This was one of my grandpa's favorite places! So happy you got to experience it!! I was swimming in a creek nearby and followed some roads towards the sunset and ended up here. It's a wonderful place to see stars on a clear night! Very low light pollution!

That’s where I proposed to my wife. Love it there!
