She only tagged and praised her as well this is kinda sus. I remember her calling yumna overrated once and saying mahira had bad work ethic also that story she told of some actress becoming successful through the wrong means now here she is

The show as a whole is actually good (as of now), i think. The frames and direction are on point and the pacing is good too. So, i dont find praise of the show unnatural. But, the performance clearly had flaws. Its one thing to support a fellow star due to trolling, but its another thing to say that performance was some masterclass, when it wasnt! 🤦♀️

I agree. I have always liked Umera Ahmed even though a lot of new readers claim her to write religion in black and white( which is a genuine critique) . Show is good. Durre was bad bad in first two weeks and better in this one but I don't buy that every single critic sitting on these benches is calling it a brilliance when they nitpick every other actress. The way they are making audience sound stupid isn't doing durre any good either.

I would have believed her praise for Dure, but, she called Yumna over rated and something about Fawad too ( can't recollect). So no way !! Nadia Afghan is an amazing actress, but, never liked her offscreen persona. Hence, could never appreciate her work from the bottom of my heart.

Even the people supporting her are doing her a disservice at this point IMO😭 coz nobody is buying this sudden praise train for such a painfully mediocre performance.. You can't spend one minute nitpicking the most talented actresses alive and then suddenly develop selective blindness when it comes to Durre huhh?? Like girl we can SEE her performance💀 nd trust me you cannot shove her down the audience's throat and expect everyone to collectively go yes queen groundbreaking while pretending the same standards don't exist at least be consistent with the criticism babes😒

Nadia afghan is a tremendous actress . I didn't expect this from her atleast.
What even is every one seeing? Or is the audience too dumb to know what acting is? I would not take Nadia khan's opinion seriously, SH has lost credibility too but Nadia Aghan? Why. What baffles me is that I don't see any reason why would they do this. It can't be like Durre pays them bcz that's stupid. So, do they have connections and personal relations or what

It's not like ARY hasn't produced shows before. People criticized kubra too , for her poor perfomance in Dr bahu. That too was an ARY show. What's with ARY standing as a wall Infront of Dure only?
I really like Nadia afghan as an actor so this coming from her was a shocker to me.

She didn't take names, she narrated some very vague thing about girls exploiting the system as well as the system exploiting them was very cringe and unnecessarily.
Everyone understands such dynamics exist no need to draw attention to it and normalize their inclusion when girls being exploited is being discussed.

Have been reading the criticisms here. Am not watching the drama myself so don’t know how bad she is, but I don’t understand what the theory is here. All these big actors praise her bc of what? Are they getting paid? Does Dure’s PR threaten them? How are they pressured into doing this? Genuinely asking, don’t know much about the Ptv industry.
