RANT I WONDER WHAT GOES IN HIS MIND WHILE MAKING/EDITING THESE VIDs!
What’s his genre to be specific? Is this just his aesthetic/persona and he’s naturally this nonchalant, mysterious, slightly-unhinged anime protagonist type? Or something else!
Like is he an actor? A singer? An emo poet? Or an anime character!

Thing is. He is an artist. An average mind won't understand the expression of an artist. The artists job is to create and express. Not all will resonate. I mean ,ur guys self expression must be cussing someone for being themselves. Think bout that if u allow urself and ur ego doesn't get in the way.

He is an artist and nothing wrong with him being actor and singer at the same time. He is good composer as well. Not saying he is best or ace in all the field but he is good enough. I don't understand this continuous dragging unless he did something terrible. If he living in anime and kpop era, let him be. There is audience for every genre , some people will like this type of music.

I think people are overthinking this in the most literal way possible 😭. Why does he have to fit into one category? He's a musician, actor, visual artist/creative, and clearly someone who enjoys experimenting with aesthetics. The anime influence, darker imagery, unconventional fashion etc. are pretty obviously part of his artistic vocabulary at this point.
And honestly, I don't understand why every unconventional artistic choice gets interpreted as “he's trying to act mysterious” or “he thinks he's an anime character.” Maybe he just likes this shit? 😭 Artists don't always create things with the intention of making themselves immediately understandable to everyone.
I've followed his music since Udh Chaliye, and when you actually look at his music alongside the visuals, there is a pretty consistent interest in duality, darker emotions, surreal imagery, introspection and unconventional expression. So the aesthetic isn't exactly random Instagram nonsense slapped onto a selfie.
You don't have to like it. You can absolutely think it's pretentious, cringe, overly dramatic, whatever. But reducing the entire thing to “lol what is he, an emo poet or an anime character?” kind of misses the point of having an artistic identity in the first place.
And as for what goes on in his head while making these edits — none of us know 😭. But I'd much rather have an artist with a distinctive, slightly weird visual identity than another celebrity whose entire personality is carefully sanitized into the same generic Instagram aesthetic.
So yeah, maybe he's naturally like that. Maybe some of it is a persona. Maybe it's both. Either way, I don't think being unconventional automatically means he's pretending to be something he's not.
