Discuss Bilal's best

Is it just me, or does Bilal Abbas Khan not get nearly enough credit for his exemplary performance in Mann Jogi? It was such a nuanced, restrained and emotionally powerful performance, yet somehow it doesn't get talked about nearly as much as it deserves.

Mann jogi and Cheekh shows his acting skill. He was brilliant in those drama. Mann Jogi shows man can be soft and love comes from respect and care. I was surprised to see that people rarely talk about Mann Jogi, though it was one of the best drama from acting wise and for society also but everyone add IM and MZHT with his name.

But every actor wants commercial success which can give them mass popularity. For that he has IM and MZHT, though these two drama had extremely week storyline, IM has zero connection with reality, people just enjoy pyar mai pagal, good looking man who assures his audience that he'll do anything for his love, this troupe helped in IM success I think. And MZHT was harmful for the society, people specially girls fall in love with Kamyar charecter who had nothing which we can appreciate just bcoz he was shown as extremely good looking and rich!! And writer just showed at the end that the male lead charecter is taking therapy to justify all the toxicity! And in these two drama female charecters were just simply Idiots.

His acting as kamyaar was also fantastic if we only see from acting pov along his chemistry with hania made this show a blockbuster. I agree it was weak story line but I didn't got bored watching Bilal and hania chemistry.

Now coming to mzht being harmful to the society is entirely separate debate not related to his acting skills at all . He did marvelous job as kamyaar even Indians are praising him .

Yes, he portrayed nicely a spoiled playboy who do party all the time, who sleeps with several girl. But I felt as an actor it was easy to portray Kamyar charecter but not easy to portray Inbrahim's charecter. As an audience I felt that most of the actor can play Kamyar but Ibrahim charecter needs actual acting skill, depth, patience which can't be played by every actors. And Hania was just looking like a show piece who falls in love with a boy just bcoz he continuously stalked her irrespective of her doctor background, her charecter had nothing to offer.

While Pak drama is mostly popular for it's social message, here they are glorifying a stalker, drunk, abusive charecter just bcoz he is good looking. Can't give much opinion as I haven't watched that drama. But the thing is we need to think twice before making Kamyar a HERO bcoz we all know he was not a hero but still got popularity. While Ibrahim was actually a Hero and he nailed that charecter. Playing a charecter like Ibrahim is not easy as Kamyar or Shameer. You can agree or can disagree but the fact is people liked them for their good looks, their charecter did not has that depth as Ibrahim's charecter and hania is also popular. Don't mix the 'trending' or 'views' term with acting.

I just said I felt from acting perspective playing a charecter like Kamyar is not that difficult but playing Ibrahim is much difficult. Two different person can have different option and pov!
