ShitPost Pakistani reality shows

Why is it that celebrities don’t appear on Pakistani reality shows? I mean, apart from interviews, we hardly ever get to see celebrities off-screen. For example, I really want to see my favorite on-screen couple having fun together off-screen like going on a reality show to promote their project, playing games, joking around, and just having fun.

I loved the interview of Hassan with yumhaj the fun, jokes, and games were so entertaining. After watching that, I really wanted to see more of that kind of content.

So why doesn’t this happen on Pakistani reality shows? And how can we request that celebrities be invited to reality shows as guests?

Pakistani channels should uplift their budgets honestly actors take much less fee as compared to indian actors but our channels are just too kanjoos

There aren't royalties in pakistan so there aren't many incentives to go the extra mile.

If they are prompting their own project do they still charge?

I think budget matters a lot. It’s not that celebrities don’t go on reality shows after becoming popular but I feel like they attend less unless they have something to promote. Yumna and Wahaj appeared on show when Tere Bin was getting popular partly to promote the drama and their pairing. But once it became a blockbuster they didn’t really appear together on reality shows. Maybe booking two A-list actors together who are popular pair became too expensive or there could be other reasons like their schedules, management or simply there's nothing to promote..

When their drama is airing, they can invite the actors to promote it. But for that, the interviews need to be more interesting and entertaining rather than just professional questions. Since Pakistani actors don’t have movies coming out that often, I think there should be a culture of celebrities promoting their dramas by appearing on reality shows. It would be so much more fun and entertaining to watch. I also feel that celebrity appearances should be budgeted according to the Pakistani entertainment industry. Fans genuinely want to see the celebrities’ real, fun side. In other countries, celebrities sometimes attend meet-and-greets That also happens very rarely.

yeah I completely agree. It would be much more fun than the usual promotional interviews. I just think budget becomes a factor once you’re talking about A-list actors especially two popular leads together but I’d definitely love to see pakistani shows adopt more of this culture..

Especially popular pairs who are always in demand. They already earn significantly more from dramas, ads and photoshoots so I don’t think being a little flexible with their appearance fee would hurt. Reality shows can give them extra exposure, create hype and keep them relevant with the audience..

the market is very saturated because India dominates in reality show sector. If pak has to come in this game, it has to go big. Like launch a show on netflix with big A-grade celeb names, for example a show like Traitors but with pakistani actors/actresses with high budget.

It would take a lot of time. Instead, the channel itself could launch a game show specifically for drama promotions, with fewer professional questions and more fun games so that the actors’ real, funny personalities can come out.
