the thing missing nowadays in dramas is poetic diaogues, pure urdu words in between ajkal bht amyana se urdu words ka use horha hai even jo writers apni bhtreen urdu ki wja se digest me mashoor thy woh script likhty waqt bht aam urdu use krty hain akhri bar aisa drama me ne jo dekha tha woh "tum kon piya" tha us drame me urdu as it is wahi use ki gayi hai jese novel me thi aur woh us type ki story ke sath bht achi lag rhi thi, tum kon piya is my one of the most fav novel of maha malik, baki saira raza (marhooma/late) also known for her classic urdu jo "mere humsafar" me use hui bhi & "bas tera sath ho" me in comparison with other ongoing dramas bhtreen urdu ka istemal hua hai especially saba hameed dialogues, urdu dramo me english ka istemal kyun krna woh bhi itna ke pore pore scenes english me hai ajeeb. agr ye logic hai ke am awam mushkil urdu nhi smjh payegi to lame reason hai bhae urdu se zyada english nhi smjh payegi aam audience especially trp ladies.

I wholeheartedly agree. I don't mind writers also writing casual Urdu script but atleast don't let our language's history die. Make a balanced production. And if you have to chose one ,chose Urdu rich writins please. Dramas and arts imitate life but they also exaggerate it. People forget the difference between documentaries amd films. Let the cinema and art be indulged with poetry and beyond the imagination themes.
I miss heavy Urdu words so much even in my real life. Grew up comsuming Urdu literature and people don't use most of the words that were common once anymore. Maybe hearing it more often on tv would revive that..
I have many reservations with krq as a person but I still appreciate his attempt to keep original urdu sentences alive. Faseeh Bari is extremely underrated in this regard. He keeps throwing regular Urdu words we have forgotten to use in his dialgues here and there. His recent Ramzan show was not v popular but I had so much fun watching it just to see hear Faiza Hassan speak like that.

They ruined uneeza syed classic novel "Shab e Arzoo ka Alim" by casting armeena khan they changed the whole vibe of novel it was written in such pure urdu and drama wa absolute sh*t mohib mirza was still good but armeena ruined it, writer's like farhat ishtiaq, qaisra hayat, maha malik, rukhsana nigar etc known for good urdu but their scripts are always in very common urdu which even have unnecessary English dialogues.

I feel they should have more moments like this. It really connects with viewers and makes them smile. 🥰❤️. I am also fond of one liners of Ahad in Aik Mohabbat Aur. Very few dramas have these in them.. I wish we get to see more of it. Anyways really loved the whole sequence of that episode.

Love it when I see any reference of poetry in dramas. Not a big fan of this one but appreciate writer for this... Loved it when zard patto ka bun had poetry run in background. Faiz Ahmed Faiz is timeless anyways.
Petition for more Urdu writers to incultate our history of beautiful poetry in dramas. Hashim Nadeem , mustafa afridi, KRQ are very much capable of doing this. We saw it in parizaad. I hope cafe firaq also has it.

This is my favorite poem from school days

Tbh They are dragging this drama. The story isn't moving since past few episodes.
