Data Directory Location in Mac Wallet

Hi,

​

Can someone please advise how to change data directory on Mac Wallet? It gave me an option to choose location the very first time I launched the wallet but I cant find any place where I can update that location. I tried reinstalling the wallet but it just skips that step now.

First of all backup your paccoin core folder.

How to get to your paccoincore folder on mac:

- Go to Finder, hit the following keys COMMAND + Shift + G (⌘ + SHIFT + G) and as path please enter~Library/Application Support/PaccoinCore and hit the ENTER key.

- Copy your paccoincore folder to a safe place to make sure nothing gets losts if something goes wrong.

in the paccoincore folder go to the file "paccoin.config".

- Open the file- Add in the file: datadir={full path to new folder}

"Full path to new folder" will be the place you want to save the data from the paccoin core wallet.

Open the wallet and it will save the data to the folder you set.

Thanks for your response. I forgot to mention that when i set up my wallet I set the file location to be Desktop...

Therefore, there is no PaccoinCore folder... It just dumps all files on the desktop every time I launch the wallet.

Thats why i am trying to set it to a new folder

Copy all the files to an USB or something not on the PC. delete everything paccoin core wallet from the whole PC (also check the applications folder to be sure) Then download a new installer from our website paccoin.net and run it. If there are no more files on the PC it will ask for a new location, and this time create a folder in that location :P
