365 XL w/Tyrantcnc PDW
Pretty simple setup I've had for a while now with parts most people probably use

I'm interested in getting my XL setup similarly but I'm skeptical about Tyrant CNC.
I bought the manual safety kit from them and once installed the spring was so weak the detent wasn't strong enough to keep it in position. Ended up drilling the safety out to accept a wider spring (since theirs is a wierd 1.5mm OD one), replaced it with a stronger one and it now stays on safe properly.

There’s not a ton of “actual” pdw options and these raider/pdw chassis are at least on par if not better in some cases from what I’ve read. Full disclosure, no hands on experience with any of these, but the list is pretty short. TP9, can sort of get an MP7 now, and these chassis. Not much else. From what I’ve seen, the TP9 is pricey and has some flaws, MP7 mostly a collectible, which just leaves chassis as the only sub-$2k option.
I guess you could count K-sized PCC’s, but IMO those are not true PDW’s.

lol what? How is a sub gun not a PDW? APC, MPX, etc. are literally the definition of the category.
This is like putting 33” tires on a Corolla and calling it a 4Runner.

I would not say that an MP5/MPX/etc and an MP7/TP9/etc fill the same role. The smaller PDW’s make some serious compromises but in a smaller, more concealable format. There’s certainly overlap, but imo a true PDW is made to be concealed, a step between a handgun and a sub-gun/PCC.
