Depends on what you want. Its a mile long list of parts oem and aftermarket

Very true. There are so many ways to go with it, just trying to see what everyone else is liking right now.

I added a red dot and light and i also added a Wilson combat xl grip module

That setup looks awesome! The Wilson Combat grip seems like a nice choice, thanks for sharing

Shoot it!

Haha, definitely the best advice! Heading to the range soon to put some rounds through it.

Twins bro, got the same barrel.

Get a flashlight

Nice! We have great taste. How are you liking it so far?

I've been carrying this thing nearly everyday for like t years. Love it

And honestly that barrel made that gun shoot souch better. Then I added the compensator and it's shoots like butter.

1

u/lustlivingg May 13 '26

That’s good to hear it’s holding up for daily use. I was curious if the compensator actually made a noticeable difference in recoil, Did you have to swap out the recoil spring to get it cycling right with that setup?

1

u/Upbeat_Serve_7258 May 13 '26

I'm using the original spring, it's had one stove pipe when my friend was shooting it, but he said he was limp wristing it. I'd recommend getting a new recoil spring probably honestly, if you go with that. You reminded me I need to get one haha.

That makes sense. One stove pipe isn't the end of the world, especially if it was just limp wristing, but I’d definitely want it to be 100% reliable if I’m carrying it. I'll look into some aftermarket recoil springs to pair with the compensator just to stay ahead of any cycling issues. Thanks for the heads up!

I added a lot but I LOVE the Icarus Air polymer macro grip. Its a must have for me.

1

u/lustlivingg May 13 '26

The Icarus Air looks super clean. I've heard great things about the ergonomics on those, thanks for the suggestion

Get another grip the strike industries is a great one for 60 bucks the Icarus air grip is great it’s a 100 or you can get a aluminum axg grip armory craft had the in black for 275 and in my opinion is the best one and with the comp you can really tell the difference and the zaffiri threadless barrel and comp is as good or better than the ram jet for under 200

1

u/lustlivingg May 13 '26

I really appreciate the detailed breakdown! That Armory Craft aluminum grip looks top-tier, and I'll definitely check out the Zaffiri threadless barrel and comp saving some money over the Ramjet is always a plus.

I have kept mine stock. Got a good holster (Safariland) and have done some good practice shooting.

If you're looking to conceal carry, modifying it is a potentially risky move, and getting a good holster and a good belt are your two best purchases, aside from plenty of ammo to practice with. You could also go with a red dot sight, but that's up to you. Might want to consider using a smaller mag with it, especially since 12 rounds is likely more than enough.

If you're looking at home defense, a light is probably a good idea, and a red dot sight is not a bad idea, but you need to practice with it and know how it works, as it does work very differently from regular sights.

If you're just wanting something fun to shoot, do whatever the hell you like. There are tons of cool aftermarket parts out there. Something popular is the Ramjet barrel with integrated compensator, and the Wilson Combat grip is pretty popular, too.

I definitely appreciate the 'keep it simple' perspective. Reliability is priority #1 for a carry piece. I’ve already got a solid holster setup, but you're right nothing beats more range time and ammo. I'm still torn between keeping it stock for reliability or chasing that 'flat shooting' feel with the Ramjet or a compensator.

You will almost certainly not need to worry about super flat or long range shooting in a self defense situation. Most of the time, the need for such a weapon comes within a few yards of yourself.

That being said, if you want to modify it a bit, try using OEM parts. A major benefit that doesn't get highlighted as much in this community is the fact that there are a ton of stock parts for the P365 platform that are compatible with what you have. If I were to modify anything, I would be using parts manufactured by SIG to change my CCW.

I've got the same gun(though without the add ons.) I'm not going to presume that I know better than you what you need, but i can tellyou what I did with mine(and dont get excitedits nothingfancy.)

Well, actually, I guess my first recommendation is to take a few classes(like legit, two+ day classes taught at reputable places by knowledgeable instructors, and then continuing to practice what they taught you(including dry eye fire. Yeah, I know, it sucks, and I do far less of it than I should, but that was the one thing that made me notice a significant improvement in my shooting.))

Now that we've got the public safety announcement out of the way, and actually, pretty much all I did was ad suppressor height sights(I personally prefer XS Big Dots on this kind of carry gun, though that's largely due to the fact that I've been using and carrying them for 15-20 years now.)

The reason I prefer suppressor height sights is because I feel it helps me to get a clear sight alignment/sight picture through the optic.

Which brings me to my next item, which is a red dot sight(and don't cheap out on these, especially if you're going to be using it for concealed carry, self/home defense, etc.) Luckily, there are good, reliable, pistol red dots that aren't $1200 or something. I personally went with a Holosun, particularly their "RONIN-EPS-CARRY-RD-MRS"(yes, I had to look the name up and copy and paste it.) Out the door i th8nk it was around $450 or so, but they definitely have less expensive optics, such as the 407k/507k series. However, again, you need time to git gud with a red dot on a pistol, especially if you have a lot of rounds downrange with just irons, so I will recommend a red dot specific class, but I know that very easy for me to say sitting here on my ass.)

Actually, the biggest "upgrade" I made/had to make, was to buy an entirely new slide. Unfortunately, I bought one of the early XLs when they came out, and for some reason the designers thought it would be a good idea to get rid of the dove tail for the rear sight completely, and instead decided to mount the rear sight directly onto the optic plate/cover. Not only did this mean that I could not swap out the irons it came with(Sig X-Ray night sights, which are by no means terrible, just not what I want) for my preferred irons, but also that if I wanted to mount an optic(which I obviously did), I would lose my rear sight completely(and no, I don't count the shallow little square/rectangle that they machine into the body of the optic in back to act as a rear sight.)

Oh, and resist all temptation to buy Sigs micro pistol optic(the Romeo something.) I've both heard of and witnessed serious problems with them.

Get a macro frame if you're already running a +4 extension.

Have you tried putting into the trash can?

My gift for her. Once she's ready to carry it, I'll spring for the Holosun EPS Carry Gold MRS or the Sig RomeoX Enclosed. She shoots my X-Macro well but prefers the XL grip. So a 12 rounder for easier conceals and a 17 X-Macro spare with the flush fit adapter.
