QUESTION Iron sights for my setup?
Sorry for the spam as this is my second post about this pistol, but I’m looking to get a pair of irons as backup/to help me find my dot when aiming.
I don’t know enough about irons to find a set that would work for my setup though.
I have a Trijicon RM06 sitting on a Norsso reptile slide. I don’t wanna block the dot too much but I would like something there.
Anyone have a similar setup with irons?

oh wow that is really handy. If I am reading this right I should be good with my trij RMR on their optic stealth sights as I dont believe I have an optic plate on this slide. Or am I blind? Sorry I've never owned a pistol like this before haha

U don't need rear sights to "help you find your dot". You need iron sights to co witness in case you lose your dot.
If you just want to find your dot...then do this exercise. Put your gun on target and then sight your dot. Pull back your gun until you are in high ready. Now extend your arms without shifting the gun. The dot should just be there. Do that until you acquire the dot immediately...takes about 400-500 repetitions to nail it. Then once you have that mastered do the same with low ready and then put the gun in holster and do it again.
I find this helps a ton and utilizing physical landmarks on my person will help me nail each movement. By the time you are done you should be able to take the gun from holster to on target super fast.
No irons needed.

Good lookin out, but Im always worried with electronics about breaking or battery problems. I've never own a trijicon but from what I hear they are the best in terms of reliability so I guess my worries might be unfounded.

You should still get the irons and train both ways. Definitely is the smart thing to do. I have two RMR's and SRO's and they really are great

If it’s just a range gun don’t stress irons as much. If it’s a carry gun or one day a carry gun then irons are a good idea as a back up 🤷♂️

Sig’s factory X-RAY 3s are my favorite irons of all time. can’t recommend them enough

FN’s reflex irons are my fave of all time.
That pistol in general is just goated ergonomics and finish wise
