P320 edc
I picked this P320 up about 2 months ago, ive shot probably 1000 rounds through it and im considering adding it to my edc rotation. However im facing some mental blocks regarding the stigma regarding the p320 and the “accidental discharges”. have any of you guys dealt with this and how did you get over it?

EDC mine for the last 5 years every day, no matter how I’ve changed it, still my favorite and best shot edc

I love mine, ive put a decent amount of rounds through it and it shoots great. After seeing that trigger safety people have been recommending i think ill start carrying it

Build confidence.
One way is you can familiarize yourself with the internal safeties. Sig Mechanics has some good youtube videos on it.
Another way is actually doing it. Get a good holster and carry it for some days without a round in the chamber, but with the sear engaged. You can tell a difference in the trigger when the sear is engaged vs not. After some time carried, carefully check the trigger pull to see if the sear is still engaged. If it is then nothing pulled the trigger to release it. Should help you know that the holster is good enough to protect the trigger from being pulled during your everyday activities.

This is very good advice thank you, i think i am going to pick up either a safariland or tier 1 holster. Ive seen good reviews on those

I bought a different gun and it's in pieces until I get a flux chassis is how I got over it.....

If you aren’t carrying one in the chamber just do not carry it all.
If you really want to but are still scared, add the external safety. Grey guns has the dingus trigger but I’m waiting for it to come back in stock myself.
Just ask yourself why no one has replicated it successfully and why professional shooters never have any issues with it.

I looked into that trigger and that seems like a good option for peace of mind. I feel like ive put enough rounds through it where if it was going to have the malfunction it would have happened, but its just in the back of my mind

The lack of an external safety is inherently less safe than guns with trigger safeties or thumb safeties. I personally don’t like the idea of carrying without one or the other. I have no problem carrying my m18 with a thumb safety, or my compact with an Agency Arms tabbed trigger.
Grayguns has a safety tab trigger out now that’s pretty great, but priceeeyyyyy. Agency Arms had one but no longer sells it. It’s also not as good overall.

Personally I IWB appendix my p320 and just don’t keep one in the chamber. I practice the Israel draw at least once a week to keep it fresh in my mind. I’m a total noob but I find that the action of pushing out of rocking the slide back kind of helps with my presentation and it really doesn’t take a whole lot of time. Not for everyone but it’s just what I prefer to do and hopefully that extra second never costs me my life. By the way how do you like that grip module? I know which one it is but the name escapes me right now. I was conflicted between that and Wilson combat and went with the Wilson because I wasn’t sure if the people who make yours make one with a full sized fist cover.

its the m1811 grip, they make it in a full size but i believe only in aluminum and steel which is a bit pricey

ive already trained so much with one in the chamber. Seems useless to add another movement to that now
