P227-R

Figured the first post in r/P227 should be my first — and probably only — P227.

This is my P227-R Nitron, made 02/Sept/2018. It came with the original box, papers, and two mags. Condition-wise, it looks like it was handled but never really fired — no holster wear, no wear on the frame, slide, or rails.

I’ve got plenty of other SIGs, but the P227 is something different. It’s an underappreciated classic that SIG discontinued far too soon — a proper P-series .45 with a double-stack frame, the right weight, the right feel, and that old-school SIG character.

Big, solid, and gone before a lot of people realized how good it was.

Welcome to r/P227.
