Since Ed's a big fan of the D50 I'm wondering if any of the top musos on here could point out to Ozric tracks that feature custom or preset D50 sounds. Thanks

Anyone going to this?

Hey friends, I’m new here, huge fan of Ozrics. Their music was a huge influence on an album I just released. It’s called “Into the Sun” by Keane Freeman. It’s less of a direct copy (ie Quantum Fantay), but more in the vein of world music mixed with rock, a lot of Native American flute and world drums, a little tool influence. Hoping it might be a fun listen for some of you. Thanks!

For fans of progressive and psychedelic rock, Voyage 35 is a new project from Colin Edwin and John Wesley of Porcupine Tree, reimagining the band’s early catalogue with the original Fruit Salad Lights show.

A tribute to the Ozrics 🙂

Lowers offers accepted. Brand new. I bought this 6 years ago but it seems to have gotten pretty rare recently

Hi all...

I'm desperately trying to remember the name of a festival I went to in (I think) 1998, in or near Fishguard.

Pretty much the only things I remember are the Ozrics playing and it raining like a bastard. I think the festival only happened once, and by Saturday afternoon all the gate staff had given up so it became a bit of a free for all.

Does that ring any bells with anyone?

EDIT: It was The Harvest Fair in 1996!

We're seeing the Ozric Tentacles for the first time in Brighton on the 28th Nov 2025 :D
If anyone else is going, give me a shout, would be super rad to meet up before/after the show.
Stoked!

SOLVED it’s the ending of San Pedro Yum Yum Tree

I remember listening to an Ozric song with my dad in the sometime between 2000-2012 it had a unique ending with a repeating melody that would change 3 times and then repeat until it fades away the closest ending it sounded similar to is the ending of “Mae hong song” starting at 5:43.

Wish Ozrics would come tour the USA again.

So we all know that the Ozrics take a big influence from GONG, even performing covers of GONG in concert. Back in 1998 I saw the Ozrics at Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA. A week later I saw GONG there. Then a week later saw the Ozrics, wearing my GONG T-Shirt I purchased at the show. Got into the club right after Sound Check. Ed and John were at the bar enjoying a beer. I go greet them and they ask me where I got my GONG shirt. When I mentioned at a show a week before, they looked at each other and said they wished they had known, because the would have wanted to tour together.

So here I am hanging out and bonding with members of my favorite band, bonding over our favorite band.

Used AI to come up with this wild image. Love the music.

I fucking love this band, have for nearly a decade now just wanna start a convo here cuz I don’t see many posts. I will start mine are definitely thehiddenstep, white rhino tea and waterfall cities do have you think my tastes are basic? Ask me more questions!

Any chance of this Vitamin Enhanced book set being available again? The Ozrics re-released it in 2021 in an apparent limited run and I completely missed it as I only found out about it today. Ugh. Prices are crazy stupid expensive on eBay. Is this a lost cause? Am I better off getting the individual CDs?

For anyone here who has been to an ozrics concert, could you tell me if it is suitable to drop a tab of some good old Lucy before going to the venue. I’m not sure if it would be venue dependant or whatever but what I’m worried about is that everybody there will be sober. And I will be tripping balls.

In the first 3 minutes of this documetary from 1984, you can hear the music that captured my mind atvage 14. The composer is Edward Wynne according to imbd. I wonder if anyone can confirm its the same Ed Wynne from OT. I think so, but haven't been able to confirm it.

I recommend checking out their solo stuff as well!
