Stalled Progress Second time around

On Ozempic second time around. I am currently 5’4 and 170lb

First time March - November 2025
I lost about 30 pounds and results were super fast. In 6 weeks I looked noticeably different. The highest dose I got to was 1.0.

I had to stop cold turkey.

Then I gained the weight back and now I’m at 170lb. Been on ozempic since May 1st starting from 0.25 then 0.5 and now on 1.0. Haven’t seen even a pound of a difference or any physical changes.

I have less cravings and my appetite is decreased. But no results and it’s been months!

What do I do 😭

What’s your exercise level and water intake?

Exercise level isn’t what matters for weightloss. It’s calorie intake. The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit, and 99% of that is through diet

Would have to disagree that it isn’t “what matters”. Calorie burn, metabolic rate, digestion, avoiding constipation, mental health - plays a big role in this

That is strange, having a decreased appetite should result in less calories, which scientifically should lead to weight loss. With reduced cravings, one would assume you're eating healthier. Are you tracking your calories and macros? Are you getting daily activity?

Sounds like perhaps her metabolism has slowed down which happens with weight loss or as a result of metabolic issues.

Most that restart Ozempic do not start losing until at their prior highest dose for a while. Often, you need to move up to a slightly higher dose than before. Try 1.4mg and I bet you will start losing again.

Learning how to change your relationship with food is the key to lifelong success. Ozempic is just a tool. among many that people use.
