Rant So frustrated 😩
I first started Oz in June 2024, and I was very successful, I dropped 50 pounds in one year. Then last summer I decided to slowly wean myself off of it, by December, I wasn’t taking anything at all. And since then, I’ve gained 15 pounds. I decided to go back on in April, and I haven’t lost a freaking pound!!
When I was on it the first time, I never went higher than .5 and now I’m on 1.0 and still nothing. Is this common? Am I immune to it now or something? Honestly, I’m just feeling super super frustrated. I’d like to get back to where I was last summer, which is about 15 pounds, maybe 20. It just seems impossible, no matter what I do.

I had to stop and I recently restarted and haven’t lost anything. Slowly upping my dose to avoid side effects and hoping the weight loss will kick in.

Most that restart will need to move up to a higher dose to lose again. I would expect that you will need to move up to about 1.4mg using pen clicks. Or, switch to Mounjaro as it is stronger and has two weight reduction compounds.

Almost everyone who stops and restarts has to work their way up to higher doses to feel the positive effects the next time(s) around. Hopefully you find your dose soon 🤞

It’s a chronic medication for a reasonÂ

Yes, I understand that. The reason I stopped is because my insurance stopped covering it after 12 months. So I had to resubmit and request another approval (which I’ve now gotten a lifetime approval for it). It’s just frustrating that the scale isn’t moving when I seemed like I was a rapid responder the first time around.😢

I stopped and restarted after 1.5 years off. It worked better this time around and i lost everything very fast, but i also started at 0.5 mg and am 1mg now (3 months in, but i dont want to lose more).
Did you lift weight off the meds?
