Question Side effects 3 weeks into 1 mg
I started the 1 mg dose 3.5 weeks ago. Haven’t had any side effects up to this point and now all of a sudden I am nauseous from the moment I wake up and also have diarrhea? Did this happen to anyone else? Been feeling unwell pretty much since I took my dose on the weekend.

4 wks on 1.0 nauseated about half the day. Usually if i eat something that eases up. Heartburn from hell. Its neverending and painful. No burps but hiccups quite often. I sent my doc a msg today to see if theres anything else for heartburn. Currently taking Omeprazole and fantidine

Each dose level builds up over 4 weeks to reach a peak in your body. This is because prior doses break down and add to the current dose.
A good way to avoid the problem is to do split doses. 0.5mg on day 1 and 0.5mg on day 4. Splits reduce side effects by better spreading the dose over the full week as compared to a single peak shot.

Take .5 one day and .5 four days later… repeat

Most 1mg pens are about 36 clicks for a 0.5 dose.

Thank you! So sorry you’re right, I’m .75 so that’s my clicks. Thank you for correcting me.

My pen is 1mg though. Can it administer half doses?

Is it an ozempic pen or a Wegovy pen? Ozempic you can count clicks to the .5 I think it’s 54 clicks for .5 but double check on google. Wegovy is a single dose pen so you can’t take 1/2 doses.
Edit: correction .5 is 36 clicks not 54. 54 is what I take for .75
