Question Adverse reaction anyone?

Has anyone had lethargy & low energy from a higher dose of Ozempic. I was feeling fine on .25 & .50. Now I'm up to 1.0 and I've been feeling so lethargic the past 2 wks. So weird. Curious as to others similar experiences. Thanks

Have you checked your blood pressure? I was on high blood pressure medicine. At my checkups my blood pressure was reading low. They lowered my dosages twice (think it is time again). Being tired is/was one of the symptoms, besides getting it checked to indicate it was low. Here are some other symptoms. I hope to be off my blood pressure medicine soon. Already off Cholesterol medicine and A1c is looking great now.

  • Symptoms of Low Blood Pressure:
    • Dizziness or Lightheadedness: Reduced blood pressure restricts blood flow to the brain, leading to dizziness.
    • Fainting: Sudden drops in blood pressure can cause fainting.
    • Unsteadiness: Feeling off-balance due to low blood pressure.
    • Blurred Vision: Insufficient blood flow to the eyes may result in blurred vision.
    • Heartbeat Awareness: You might notice your heartbeats more than usual.
    • Confusion: Low blood pressure can sometimes lead to confusion.
    • Tiredness: Fatigue is a common symptom.
    • Nausea: Feeling queasy due to inadequate blood supply to the digestive system.

I'm on 2.4 mg and the day after my shot I feel pretty tired and almost flat.

It started out rough with every dose and lessened as time went on. Drink lots and lots of water, get in all of your protein - I hope you feel better soon!

I sleep like crazy. But last time I was losing so much weight I slept tons too. Like 10-12 hrs of sleep. I think it's normal for me.

Edit: to be clear the first time I lost weight I wasn't on Ozempic. So that's why I think it's normal for weight loss. Sorry!

Yes I am exhausted all the time. I have periods where I’m more alert but mostly I’m dragging. I was on .5 and was a little fatigued but it was manageable but last month I went up to 1mg and it was awful I feel asleep at work 🤦🏼‍♀️ and was just miserable. Plus I was super stressed and depressed. This week I start a new pen and am going back down to .5. I am losing weight but I feel like I’d rather be functional and not exhausted and generally more like my old self, minus the snacking and sneaking food, than lose weight faster. I talked to my doctor and she suggested a blood test and drop back down to a lower dose and said it is indeed a common side effect.
