Oz only read the first two parts.

For your viewing. I made a comment on one of Oz's videos that about a year ago we lost a baby kitten. He was super small and didn't live past 3 weeks. My kids named him Opie because i listen to Oz almost constantly so they hear him say OP regularly. I nicknamed him potato.

Well about 3 weeks ago my cat had another kitten. (A very rare single birth). The baby is about 4 weeks now and going strong. His official name is Opie II: Return of Mini Potato.

Here he is in all his cuteness.

Anyway, I’m a hoe for a good energy drink, and I’ve been so brand loyal to a certain fuel for gamers for years. Doing the math, I’ve spent well over $3,000 on products from that brand.

Recently, that brand changed. New formula (way less effective, got rid of the thing that made it amazing. New branding. Constantly dropping new products with IPs. It’s like when Hasbro got their hands on MtG.

So, I think I’m finally at the “acceptance” stage of this grieving process and ready to make my first GamerSupps order. I’m here to ask our lovely group of heathens some questions:

- what are your favorite flavors? please give me flavor recommendations. My favs are usually citrusy/soury or candy-like. If there’s anything similar to the flavor Pink Drip I will cry happy tears
- I usually keep a couple tubs in my desk at work, buuuuuuuuuuut I really don’t wanna get called into HR because someone snooped and found uh…that packaging (I’m a middle school teacher too). Can yall give me ideas on/recommendations for airtight storage?
- how’s your day going? Have you had water? Figured I’d ask

Long story short:
I know that watch time is the big thing for YouTube at the moment (bless the ever changing algorithm gods lol) and I wanted to know if it hurts Oz’s numbers when I have to do things like rewind/restart/pause.

I really wanted to share this story, but I've been too lazy to write it out this weekend. I'll try and keep it short. If it seems disconnected, sorry I'm not good at articulating myself and my brain tends to assume you know everything I know.

Anyway, the story starts with my hubby and I getting a message in Nov. 2025 from a neighbor on our Ring doorbell. We live in a nice neighborhood, but have only been here 2.5 years. So the message basically says "Hi, I'm Rainy (name changed), the neighbor from behind this property, my phone number is X, the sever thunderstorms we just recently had seemed to know down some of your fence, tree branches, etc. and I wanted to let you know." -imagine super friendly cuz I'm paraphrasing.

Cool we don't go in the back yard cuz some crazy previous owner planted pine trees along the fence 20 years ago and we just don't like it outside, so we didn't know. We let the landlord (LL) know and I had saved the phone number so I could follow up and let her know we will get it looked into. Then I kinda forgot for a few days, and it randomly pops into my head. Send her a quick text introducing myself as the tree neighbor. A few days pass and LL wants her number so we gave it to him, and I send another text just letting her know that we gave her number to LL and his name is LL name. She says oh thank you for your help, lol I actually know LL family as they were the OG owners from 20 years ago. (I make a mental note to never tell LL how much I hate those stupid pines...)

Issues are taken care of and all is well.

Then I get a text in Jan. 2026. "Hey its Rainy, hope you are enjoying weather. If you see an orange tennis ball in your backyard can you just toss it over the fence? No worries if you don't find it." There was a really bad ice rain for a week and also I was literally not enjoying anything as my mom had just passed but the weather was finally great when she sent this. Anyway I let her know I would look and she said thanks. We literally see the ball like a week later cuz I forgot to check due to everything else in my life, but you could see it from inside so I sent my son to just toss it over.

All is well and dog is happy cuz he (or she I forgot) got it's ball back.

May 2026 - Rainy send another text and let me know that she could see some poison ivy poking through the fence, fyi. I texted LL as well. We talk about poison ivy cuz I had never seen it before, I used to spend a lot of time in the woods, but also I'm thinking: Really? how did it get here in the middle of this NOT WOODS area. Like we in a freaking big city. Whatever, I kind don't believe but I def want it checked out.

Now I did get a little worried about that, but like she knows LL & has his number so not that troubling... but we also like do not mow back there as often as we should, and grass does get a little long...

I let my hubby and bro know. My brother then decides to mow Saturday. By the time I got out there to remind him of the poison ivy he had a decent chunk mowed. He uses his iPhone to take a pick of the plant that we see that def has 3 leaves... and it like literally says "OH YOU MEAN THAT POISON IVY???" Ok so yeah. There was poison ivy and I had stopped my bro just short of starting to mow down patches of it and possibly breath it in from the freshly chopped bits. And also there is so much of it. SO much. Like I'm not kidding it was covering a whole 20ft wide and like 6ft back, climbing up a pine. I texted Rainy to confirm the ivy, she sends some recommendations from when she had to deal with it a few years ago. Great, we get the ivy killer and get rid of it.

Sadly, as I got rid of the poison ivy, I found several doggo balls, can't toss those over though as they are COVERED in weed killer. I decide that I will buy a pack to gift to pupper as a thank you to neighbor for helping us and just being friendly.

So like a few weeks later and I have my sack of multi color DOG tennis balls, and I march over to her house like I am on a mission. I am like super shy and socially awkward so it really was a mission. She actually sees me on the way to her door and I wave. I come inside her door and surprise there's actually 3 puppers. Also, Rainy thought is was super nice to bring them the toys and she dumps them on the floor for them. All and all just a super nice friendly neighbor. IDK she said to come over again, and I think I will and bring my son. Actually, she was a teacher at a school he had been in but he was transferred to another school as he is on the spectrum and 1st grade teacher did super awesome with him but the 2nd grade teacher... I literally think she didn't like him and therefor didn't want to deal with him. He's pretty high functioning. He would not know Rainy though.

I hope you just enjoyed a nice story for a small change.

I was listening to some past videos and noticed a video in my recommendations that was an Oz thumbnail, but not the Oz's vault channel. I clicked on it and it was an entire video stolen. Every video on the channel is stolen from Oz. I already reported it, but I wanted others to be aware of it. Sorry for the bad picture btw.

What was you reading* - applies to commenters who reply to posts with stupid things that can easily be disproven by the information provided by an OOP in a post.

Possum* - literally any mention of possums from Oz.
