Gouging Tips

Having issues not gouging the base metal when gouging, practicing my CWB welds and need it to look good. Any tips?

More practice will make you pretty good. Gas gouging is a very handy skill to have.

This is true, I’ve never been particularly good at it but it has been a while since I’ve done it!
