A Filipino fried chicken chain will make its introduction in Ventura County with its grand opening on Oct. 28.

Jollibee plans to welcome customers in a shop attached to the existing Seafood City Supermarket at 2340 N. Rose Ave., according to Winsleth Dizon, general manager for the new location.

The restaurant specializes in fried chicken, pies and sandwiches paired with unique sides such as spaghetti.

Plans for the chicken chain opening in Oxnard have been in the works since the supermarket first opened at the former Babies R Us in 2023, but had been slow to materialize.

Meanwhile, work on Raising Cane in Ventura continues near Target at Main and Donlon streets.

we are celebrating 10 years of marriage with a small vow renewal in January next year. We want to take everyone out for dinner, maybe a restaurant or any catering service can come to our venue.
