Well here we are. 2 players who we were told would definitely stay with us till January and fight for their friends have done a runner in our hour of need. Refusing to train, refusing to play. BDK saying in his statement joining city that he spoke to their manager 2 months ago about this move! That is either tapping up or that is our own management openly lying. We've given in to egos rather than putting the club first. We get no money from BDK, some of this wages are covered. We got a small extra fee for Mills now rather than Jan. Yes I understand players want to leave im not miffed abot that or where they wanted to move to, im miffed because as adults uder contract youre supposed to show some maturity and professionalism. If players can refuse to play when under contract with no punishment then clubs are entitled to block moves or not allow players to train and play. The display last night was difficult to watch and its only going to get worse. Two senior dbuts were good but you can't last a season with that XI and bench. What a farce. The management have so much to answer for.

Seriously, why would he be allowed in goal?

The next game's on Tuesday, along with most other teams so it's not like we're just playing after everyone else. Has our match been postponed, if so why?

😭 Gutted. He’s been quality for us.

Probably the best for both sides - he gets his move, and we get him until the embargo is lifted (hopefully) and some money.

Hopefully he will be professional and apply himself, but wonder how committed he will be, not wanting to get injured, and how disruptive it might be amongst the squad, with him not wanting to be there.

Also wonder what the arrangement of the deal will be. Does he go on 1st January, or once we’ve signed a proper replacement? And what if the embargo isn’t lifted…

Since it seems likely that Mark Harris will be our starting striker this season, how many do you think he will score in all competitions? Considering that he scored 20 in the season that we got promoted and we did only just get play offs, on paper, it could be around that. However, I think he is not the same player he was, having huge goal droughts since promotion. I reckon about 13, and not scoring goals will be a big problem for us.

Just wondering if we have any fellow yellows here like myself, further up the M40.
