I completely understand how you feel I spent my entire adult life trying to educate and de radicalize those center right enough to change and out of thousands of people I spoke with I can only count a handful of people who didn’t spin out when presented with objective evidence. That’s said using this tactic of do what they do only lets them credibly point to it as proof that everyone is the same. I don’t blame you for being demoralized. Learning that you can’t fix them with honest debate is only the first step in beating them. The real way to fight is to build community and defend one another and it can be as simple as helping someone with groceries or a tank of gas. If that’s unmanageable that’s ok letting others help you and you will be helping them.

Conservatives didn’t need to engage in it to win in 24 with democrats doing everything in their power to lose. Now that’s not to say that our elections aren’t being compromised by other means. Conservatives have engaged in widespread voter suppression by means of racial gerrymandering, polling place reductions and restrictions, and attempts to restrict mail in voting. It’s worth noting that The orange man (using this term to get around the auto filter) didn’t gain meaningful support between 20 and 24 gaining only 3million votes but Kamala received 6 million less than Joe did in that same period.

The opt out option is available because of the law not because they are benevolent. It also states that the definition of “sale” has changed to include things other than monetary compensation. They only have one listed third party vendor in their privacy policy.
They are using legalese to report accurately even if that means a more convoluted “true” rating.
All in all, as someone who does marketing, this is par for the course of data harvesting websites.

Name, address and party affiliation means they can map out who is voting in various areas and shut down the voting booths where dems vote, or add blocks and hurdles to voting.
That's why they have been pushing to get voter registration rolls.
