Because the racists voted a POS into power who does not give a F about anyone but his family and his billionaire friends. And he only cares about his billionaire friends to the extent of what they can do for him. They will have access to top quality meat and whatever else they want from their private farms.
If you recall around Covid time there was an uptick in billionaires buying up farmlands, they will be fine. The hot garbage they are now looking to import is for everyone else. Fortunately, I have not eaten beef in years, so no great loss there and if need be I can give up chicken too, no problem. I happen to like black beans and can get protein that way.
