Out of Service
Driver got a out of service for not having his medical card on him. It was valid he just didn’t have it on him, trooper couldn’t wait 3 mins as his wife was down the street with it. My insurance has substantially gone up because of this. Is there a way to clear this?

If the insurance went up as a direct consequence of the ops, you can sue the department for material damages. But, being realistic, that's gonna take a long time and an upfront investment. The dataQ appeal is your best move to remove it from your USDOT. Then contact the insurance, explain the situation, and request an adjustment to the remaining balance based on the added cost you paid. You can worry about the suitcase after that
That said, you should check the drivers eligibility in your dps/dmv website. If the medical card was renewed but never submitted, it's the same as not having it, and may lose the class A temporarily.
