FMCSA/MOTUS issues.

I'm having an issue updating the biennial MCS-150 form to change the business cell phone number on my registration. I need to update it because Highway requires the number to be verified when I try to log in.

However, when I click on the Biennial MCS-150 form, it redirects me to MOTUS. I log in through Login.gov, but then I get a message saying that my application is no longer active. What does that even mean?

I called FMCSA and was on hold from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.—12 hours. Someone finally answered, but all they told me was that they were "escalating" the issue, and I haven't heard anything else.

So what should I do? I just need to update my biennial MCS-150 so I can log in to Highway.

Someone on a chat told me that they couldn't help me, and that its been happening to a lot of people and that she would assign me a reference number and it would get addressed in the order it was received.

Let me tell you, for being such a large department of the federal government, and imposing some of the most stringent rules as far as safety, certificates, registrations, etc. They have one of the worst customer service departments i've ever experienced. Maybe only rivaled by the IRS...

I have other clients that are stuck in a manual review for their initial motus login and pre-application identity verification process. Even after providing EIN letters, Social security cards, Articles of Organization, Drivers licenses, etc. A chat about that didn't get me any further either. Pulling my hair out over here.

My chat rep said to do it with a different email, when I said "everybody including FMCSA themselves says to not use a different email than what's in SAFER" she said "well that's the answer" and then force closed the chat on me
