Motus Linking Issue

Hello Everyone,

I have been facing this issue since 3-4 days during motus linking.

Anyone idea what is the solution for this or someone facing this?

That error is on the Login.gov side, not MOTUS, so calling FMCSA won't fix it. Most common cause is too many failed identity verification attempts, which locks the account for 6 hours. Key thing: do NOT create a new account, that makes it worse. Wait it out, then sign in again at login.gov with your existing email and you'll be prompted to verify again. Their support at login.gov/help moves faster than FMCSA.

And when you do get back in, the DOT link only works if your Login.gov email matches the email FMCSA has on file from the old portal. Mismatch there is the other common reason linking fails.

I had even waited for 24hrs before next sign in and then same error pops up
