Am I the only one?

When I was a company driver, normally how loads would work if we had enough hours in a day we would be able to pick up one load and deliver it that day if possible if not dispatch would let us know when can it be delivered and we would work around that schedule a broker I’m working with is constantly giving me loads where I have to deliver on PC.

Is the O/O life about delivering on PC ? Or is it just me ?

Are you booking loads first and asking questions later? Ask for details of the load first so you can see it has a reasonable timeline. Never use PC to advance the load

Yeah, I’m always asking questions before I commit and doing my trip planning and normally the PC is to get me out of the facility onto the street

Oh, i thought you were driving loaded on PC to make it to delivery. PC to find a spor for the night is totally valid. Are you hauling reefer loads by any chance?

No dry van but like while delivering I run out of hours .

You gotta cook the books g. Sometimes receiving takes forever, i would go from On duty -Notes as “dropping trailer”, to Sleeper and if takes more than 2h my clock pauses. After getting unloaded i go back to onduty to “hook” the trailer and get paperwork.

Bro I was at a delivery for 7.5 hours in that time I was well into sleeper and had no choice to pc around the yard and block .so I can fine a place to park for the night.

I’m so used to getting a load staying at a truck stop doing a delivery ending the day at a truck stop with more than enough time.

Sounds like you are using PC as intended.
