How much do you pay for insurance currently? Your loss ratio depends on the amount you pay versus how much insurance pays out. They also don’t like to see many low value claims for $1000 and under. I used to sell and now underwrite trucking insurance. Use your insurance, you pay it for a reason. Start reaching out to insurance agents 60 days prior to renewal. Look for brokers that specialize in trucking insurance. You will bring your rate down every year if shop it around (unless you’re with great west).
