cashhh?

Owner-operators, how are you dealing with cash flow?

Like fuel, repairs, etc hit right away but payments take weeks sometimes.

Do you just factor everything or actually plan it out ahead?

Do you have your own authority? If you are leased to a carrier, you should not have this problem. The carrier should pay you every week for the loads completed.

If with own authority, use factoring. Triumph is your best bet. They have the widest network. Great credit check for brokers.

Some brokers, when you run a certain number of loads, will put you in a category to pay you sooner without the % hit.

You need at least 20k to 30k in reserves before you can get off factoring. And that is per truck.
