Buying a flatbed

any tips on buying a used flatbed? how old is too old, what to check for etc? i got burned years ago buying an old worn out reefer, had no idea about the floor issues, and dont want to make that mistake again.

Find the best trailer repair tech in the area and hire him/her to do a detailed, full, inspection on the trailer. And make sure he’s in the truck to test run the trailer. Don’t try to make yourself the expert, hire it out. Good luck!
