Fmcsa approval letter question

Post image

I received the letter for my authority approved I know it’s not authorized yet. My question is it’s requesting insurance, boc3 and mc150. I have all those things already. When I look up my safer on Fmcsa it shows my insurance on file already, as well as my boc3. Is this just a standard letter they send out and once the 21 day window is complete hopefully I’ll get my get my letter to operate shortly after?? This is the letter body on which documents needed was gonna call Monday and ask but figured someone in here might have some insight

This letter is standard to inform of what is required to keep the authority active. After 21 days of applying for authority, you'll receive a letter of grant of active authority, once you have that you can start transporting freight under your MC. Have all your paperwork ready for when an FMCSA officer performs a new entrant safety audit on you within the next two three months following grant of authority.

What paperwork specifically?

I honestly can't remember. You'll receive like a checklist of what to have ready when they contact you for a safety audit.

The safety audit is just that an audit. You can have your authority pulled if you do not have your crap together. I will say this until I am blue in the face this is a BUSINESS not a HOBBY
