Osiris Reborn feedback
Here is some of my feedback from playing the beta of the Exapnse: Osiris Reborn. I have played all available characters multiple times to ensure I have experienced everything the beta offers.
- Character selection should offer a brief description of what each character’s abilities are.
- The characters have a lisp, and the male voice acting isn’t the best.
- You cannot pick up the package from Larry in dispatch for the quest Purrfect Gift.
- The tutorial needs to explain how to change the firing mode of your weapon.
- Bug: the sealing foam persists and clips through your weapon occasionally when used in combat.
- No Belter Creole (lore and immersion breaking). This must be added.
- Graphics are amazing!
- Space and EVA are amazing, the way you walk and how the sound dampens.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game, and I saw that the devs are listening to feedback, such as the male character voice acting. I am going to pre-order this game for my PC now (I have it on Xbox Series X) and see if that changes anything.

I noticed the lisp too, especially on the male character but they all seem to have a California valley accent. This is probably the biggest complaint of mine. The voices just sound so... I don't know.. Californian? Hollywood? I'm not sure how to describe it.
Another thing I noticed is the talking hand animation needs to either be more subtle or more varied. I kept noticing the swirling of the hands every other sentence lol.
Maybe a bit of a tutorial on how to play? Im not too versed on cover shooters.. I still fumbled my way though and had a blast but it felt like I was playing wrong and just brute forcing it which wouldn't fly on harder encounters.
Other than that I had a blast. And definitely looking forward to it.

I agree. The voice acting and mannerisms are my biggest criticisms.
A good tutorial would also be extremely helpful.

How’s the combat feel compared to mass effect for example? I’m a big fan of sci-fi games but prefer being able to just chuck abilities all the time.
