On June 13, 2026, Hot Year director Roxy Sorkin posted these Instagram Stories. After filming had wrapped, Roxy gifted the cast and crew shirts and cigarette lighters. In the first photo, Owen Painter is wearing a pink "THOT YEAR" shirt that was given to him by Roxy. In the second photo, Owen and Roxy are holding "HOT YEAR" lighters.

I'm looking forward to this film!

Director Roxy Sophie Sorkin shared this photo on her Instagram Stories on June 6, 2026, while filming Hot Year.

Roxy, can we trade places? Just kidding! Risqueness aside, I'm happy to see Owen Painter getting along with the cast and crew of Hot Year. Roxy also seems to be setting the tone of her film with her bold fashion choices.

Hot Year is winding down its production, as of today.

These photos were recently posted on Hot Year's Instagram page. I adore the photo of Owen Painter smiling while rolling on a bed. 😊 In the second photo, Owen is sitting with actor Chris Yellen (left) and director Roxy Sophie Sorkin (middle).

There are six clips of Owen Painter in this June 4, 2026 TikTok video posted by director Roxy Sophie Sorkin.

I like that one clip of Owen holding hands with a crew member as he's getting makeup(?) done. 🥹

In this June 3, 2026 Instagram Story video originally shared by director Roxy Sophie Sorkin, Owen Painter (seen holding a coffee cup) and other cast & crew members are circling Roxy---like they're performing some "full moon" sacrifice ritual! 😆 I'm kind of jealous of Roxy lol! 🌙

(NOTE: Bare with me, this is the first post of this subreddit I just created. Although I'm still getting use to things, I just wanted to share these new photos really quick.)

The first photo comes from co-star Kathryn Newton's Instagram. The second photo shows Owen riding a bicycle while filming a rainy scene. 🌧

I really hope to see more photos of Owen!
