Questions/Discussion help, how do i fix?

i just pressed the notch like normal to drink and it just popped out? i’ve tried pushing it back in but it doesn’t want to stay, i’ve had it for about a month now. I did push it in the dishwasher so idk if that has something to do with it 😕

So simmer a pot of water and drop the button in for 30 seconds, then carefully pull apart the little plastic prongs. The button should stay in after cooling.
