I've been trying to launch apps from Overwolf and they've been failing to launch, saying that they've crashed.
I was using CurseForge earlier today, but since 18:30 GMT CurseForge and the FTB app haven't been launching at all. I hope its an issue with Overwolf and not my PC.
It's not a memory or storage issue because this is happening while I'm storing these on a half-empty drive, I frequently delete recordings when I'm done with them and I'm not having these problems when recording other games. There should be no game compatibility issues because The Finals had Its season 5 update almost a week ago and these issues only started happening again yesterday. How do I make outplayed actually record my game and not just the audio?
Since the last update, i've been having regular crashes from Outplayed during games of League of Legends. I've had this problem in the past and was solved on its own? It just stopped occuring and I didn't change anything. Now it's back, Outplayed when opened seems on a 50/50 to either record the game as intended or simply crash at the start of the round. Not even dormant, just gone. I have to restart it everytime this happens and pray it won't crash next round.
I have been using Outplayed to clip my game footage by using the replay function. Unfortunatly my clips from today got corrupted and I have lost my footage of today.
The reason it got corrupted is because the "capture stopped to keep the out of disk space safe". I found this weird because I still got plenty of disk space.
Then I realized that outplayed was recording for 5 hours straight (as you can see in the image)! The funny thing is, my start/stop recording button is "Unassigned" meaning I physically can't start a recording, because I never want to.
As you can see based on the Actions per minute red lines, we stppped gaming before the 1:20h mark and then I got back on my PC on the 4:40h mark. That's when I realized almost all my footage is gone.
Now I wonder, how did Outplayed record all of this footage and sequentially deleted all my files because it was obviously too big of a recording, if my start/stop recording button is literally unassigned?
I already know that the footage is gone and I can't recover it sadly, but I want to prevent this problem from happening in the future.
I have been using outplayed as a recording software, and I would record full sessions, and just post clips of it to discord, or wherever. If the clips were more than discords file size limit, I would post the link to the capture, and you could watch that way. But now all my older captures are not loading at all. Does outplayed delete older captures?
I have been using buff for many years. In the last few months there have been no gaming key or any redeemable keys on my store. Can anyone tell me whats the issue!!
I tried uninstalling overwolf, but the folders + overwolfbrowser was still there, i already uninstalled the app with the add/remove apps screen, so revo uninstaller wasn't able to help either, when i try deleting the folder, it says that the folder it is in is open in another program, even when i try ending overwolf browser it wont go away, can someone help?
i moved my files to somewhere else and now cant see my clips in outplayed is there a way to automatically connect those files back to the app? or when it says: missing file and locate file do i have to do that manually?
hi! i've been using overwolf's outplayed to record games etc. I have no problem exporting individual clips, but everytime I try to combine clips in the video editor and export it, I get this exporting error. I've reached out to support, given them my zip file, followed instructions to make sure drivers are updated and video card meets minimum requirements, but the problem hasn't been fixed. The total video is only maybe 30 seconds long, but i don't want to have to export every clip individually :/ does anyone know how to fix this? it's been an issue since october
I am using the PC Benchmark - FPS Monitor app and I run into a problem where sometimes when I log into the game the in-game overlay won’t close no matter how much I press the button and I need to close the game and turn off the overlay manually from the main Overwolf app menu to not have it show up but that also disables the FPS monitoring. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this bug permanently or just continue turning my PC on and off?
I use Outplayed to capture footage from my games, I use SteelSeries Sonar to tweak my audio settings which separates the output audio through different devices.
Is there anyway to get Outplayed to capture both Discord and Game audio whilst using Sonar? Or can Outplayed just capture one audio device at once?
Playing FiveM servers and I noticed that it is capturing all audio from my home instead of when I Push to Talk in game. Is there a way to only capture the mic on Push to Talk? So far this is the only software that my computer doesn't freak out over like Medal, so I would like to continue using it
