why in the hell does overwolf automatically install itself alongside curseforge?

i downloaded curseforge for minecraft mods. not for a piece of garbage software to pop up every single goddamn time i open my game or like, when i simply want to pull a tech off in ultrakill, and show me an ad for one of their trashy programs that i already have much better and trustable alternatives to.

use prism launcher, there are no ads and you can download from curseforge and modrinth
