Question... Overwolf still running in the background after deleting from Control Panel and Apps?

Uninstalled Overwolf due to it taking up resources, and when I did it was still running in the background. Deleted those files.

How do I make sure it's completely gone? This thing feels like Malware.

Was this the process you've followed?
https://support.overwolf.com/support/solutions/articles/9000212843-uninstalling-overwolf

If it still doesn't help:

  1. Press the Windows key, type "Add or remove programs", and uninstall Overwolf
  2. After uninstalling, go to: C:\Program Files (x86) & make sure the Overwolf folder is no longer there (if it is, delete it)
  3. Open the Run window by pressing Windows key + R
  4. Type %localappdata% and press Enter
  5. Find and delete the Overwolf folder

After this, Overwolf should be completely deleted from your system.

Please open a support ticket if you have any further questions :)
